It was supposed to be Tom Cruise initially believe it or not. But Tom didn’t want to work with Shawshank director Frank Darabont because up until that point Frank hadn’t made any significant movies.

Saw shawshank redemption today ! And oh my god I couldn’t stop crying !!! This movie has my heart and Tom Robbins is a genious 🙏🙏 The film gives hope and leaves you wanting to work towards making things happen irrespective of the circumstances . It’s Tim Robbins bday tomorrow on 16th October . I wish him a great great life ahead 😇

I think City of God is probably the best movie ever. It ticks every category possible. Especially the subculture category. That people like martin scorsesse try to portray so well.
