Kentucky has a lot of distilleries, but Lawrenceburg Indiana has several distilleries that produce bourbon for some of the largest brands in the US, including MGP Indiana which probably produces more bourbon for more brands than any other distillery in the US. If you buy bourbon in the US that isn't from Kentucky, there's a good chance it's made by MGP.

Iv never tried Burbon, except the time I mixed up various alcohol’s (gin, vodka, rum, scotch and burbon) from my parent’s stash in a peanut butter jar! This was 1975? Yes me and my friends took turns drinking it before school oh and smoked some weed too. This was in 8th grade and instead of going to school we went to a friend’s house to play poker and fell asleep. After watching this I think I may try some Burbon now that I’m retired.

One of the reasons KTY is bourbon and horses...the water. Many areas in KTY have a lot of limestone. The water is naturally filtered through the limestone, removing the iron from the water and adding nutrients. A lot of distilleries get their water from deep wells for this reason. It's also great for the horses!

Oh the sacrifice hahaha ! People pay crazy money to do half of your experience. I grew up fishing the creek at Jim Beam have some very fond memories there I recently visited back with my brother and wow has it changed but a lot is still the absolute same the sounds the smells the ole iron bridge we would cross to go to great great grandmas house for Easter supper, sorry spilling a lot but “its not about what’s inside the barrel as much as the outside” love ya Jim

As an alcoholic who lives in Louisville, I can say there's just something about bourbon that checks all the right boxes. I'm partial to Knob Creek and Bulleit but Pursuit makes a damn fine product. Great video.

I like bourbon, and scotch, and rye, and Irish, and Tennessee, and Crown Royal. they each have their own unique virtues. I usually keep at least one bottle of each around, and i enjoy a single glass in the evening. Sometimes I make a cocktail. Lately, I have been very much on a bourbon kick and have been drinking little else. My favorite bourbon is Jefferson's Very Small Batch. It has excellent smoothness and what I would describe as, a round, rich flavor. They make a very good rye too, but I think it is overpriced.
