I saw him the 2 days concert at wembley. A lot of people were crying, me included during the performance. In the video you can't feel the raw emotions. The crowd was wild, we chanted his name so loud. And yes he was so handsome. He had us in the palm of his hand. Unforgettable. It was magical

I saw this live at the Rose Bowl. It made me bawl like a BABY.

Jin learned the major chords for this because he didn't want to fake it on stage. He didn't play at the time. Which makes it even more crazy for me to imagine how much he practiced so he could sing at the same time! He has said repeatedly in the last year+ that he is "diligently" learning how to play. There was something like this convo: j-hope re starting an instrumental band: Jin can play the drums! Jin: But I'm diligently learning how to play the piano! :-D

I feel like Jin’s singing is always and most stable live... I love the sincerity in his singing, I think that’s who he is.

This song actually has the most meaning to me. After years in an abusive marriage I finally got the nerves back to leave. After a few more years I heard this song and realized in all this I had wore a mask and had stopped loving myself. So when I heard Jin sing this live with the passion he does it just brings back strength to me. The music is beautiful but when it’s live it’s powerful and beautiful!

I love Jin's journey as an artist. He just... he was picked off a BUS. for his LOOKS. And he could have remained just a visual, but he DIDNT. He TRAINED AND TRAINED. Often times I've heard people call him talentless? And while I disagree, I will say, fine. He's SKILLED though because talent is something you're born with but skill is something you work for. And he's worked his ass off. He's learned piano, guitar and most importantly the instrument of the voice. ILOVE HIM.

Jin's singing is always more more better in live performances than in a music videos.. no matter how many times I listen to epiphany and every time I get goosebumps.

Jin's lyrics in this song and in Awake are so personal and important for his journey with BTS and all the hate he received and difficulty even from within the company. He had to fight tooth and nail and work so so hard to get the recognition he deserves for all his hard work and to be seen as more than just a pretty face. Bighit didn't even let him go to his university graduation yet made allowances for BOTH of jungkook's middle school and highschool graduations. He had to beg to get Awake on the Wings album as his solo and it is a masterpiece. He didn't have the background in singing or dancing or rap like any of the others, he started in his 20's from the basics and had to work his way up in every department and he did it again and again. His singing teacher even said Jin is the most dilligent and hardworking student they've ever had. Jin had something to prove and he does it time and time again and that is one of the many reasons this song hits so hard, especially after Awake. I love Seokjin so much and I'm so proud of him. Also yes i think you guys would be fantastic buddies you're both such fun and nice people.

It used to to bother me so much that they used to mix his voice in the way they do, because he sounds like THIS live. His voice is so effortless, stable and emotional. His vocal teacher personally has seen him transform his voice ( while studying acting he must have had an actor voice but still he persevered to transform. Now the 28 year old him is the most critically acclaimed vocalist in bts named the silver voice by grammys panel and being acknowledged for his vocals by KMAs (Korean grammys) , NME , RollingStone, TIME , MTV and many other prestigious committees.

I saw BTS live in Paris and I remember that last high note belt went STRAIGHT to my heart and made my eyes teary.... didn't expect it and was rendered absolutely speechless!

This is why the title "SILVER Voice" fits him so well....his voice is just so classical and dramatic, sure it's a fact that his style of singing is not that fancy or complicated like Jungkook or Taehyung (runs, R&B vibes, etc.) or like Jimin who has that natural high tone.....but HIS voice is the type that makes you feel emotional, you can hear every words clearly with passion and conviction, and RM already said before that Jin has the best diction out of all of them. To be honest among all the vocal line, and even though JK is my ultimate bias...Jin's solo songs/covers are my favorite, they just hit different. So to whoever says that he's talentless, I dare you to hit a triple high note LIVE in front of thousands of people without breaking a sweat while looking like an angel on stage.

You know what, I was so wrong about Jin. When I first found BTS I thought he wasn't that talented. Boy was I wrong! He's so impressive! Maybe even more so than the others because it's obvious how much he had to work to become that flawless. As someone who is working on my own talent and belting voice, I know how hard it can be. Thank you for this great reaction which made me appreciate Epiphany and Jin even more, which I thought would have been impossible. Of all the live Jin eras, the purple-haired Jin is when he seems to me to be the most comfortable with himself and therefore the best performer and even the sexiest (see purple-haired Dimple). It's funny to me as I look back, when I first discovered BTS I barely noticed Jin. Then I listened to more songs and found his voice could make me feel whatever emotion he was trying to evoke incredibly deeply. And as I learned more of his real personality he just decided to become my bias.

Have you ever reacted to them singer “Born Singer,” a live performance which has them singing on a round stage but they overlap two performances that are 4 or 5 years apart? It’s mainly the rap line singing and being supported by the vocal line. The older version is black & white, the later version is in color. Also in the older version, they sing facing each and turn to face the audience at the end. In the later version, they do it the opposite way. The rappers sing with so much passion. If you haven’t seen it, I do think you’d love it.

I think that when Jin says WWH it is a form of defense to cover his shyness and sense of inadequesy, so actually he has to learn to love himself . Did you notice how quiet the audience was when he was singing? I read somewhere that he learned to play piano just for this performance.
