How to replace shaver battery | Remington R5130

This video shows how I replaced the battery a Remington electric shaver which stopped working. I would say "Proceed with caution, I'm not responsible for damage you cause blah blah blah" but I guess if you're shaver is not working, then it's either try this or throw it out and buy a new one anyway.
And yes I know there's no music, play your own if you want :)

Thanks for sharing this video. As a result of viewing it, I was able to replace the batteries in my shaver wth AA type rechargeable 2400maH and with a minor modification to the case, they have increased the capacity by 50%. Great!

What are the blue things that you used to pry off the face piece ? Where can they be obtained ?

Unsure of the actual name of the tool, but if you Google cellphone repair kit or tablet repair tools, they are usually sold together as part of a kit from a lot places like ebay, amazon, aliexpress, etc. Hope that helps.

I found it easier to remove the entire circuit board with the batteries as it is easier to work with outside of the shaver casing. There are two screws holding the circuit board down. You can then pry upwards on the plastic wire harness where the charger plugs in allowing for the circuit board and batteries to slide out of the shaver casing which provides easier access to de-solder and re-solder in the new batteries without soldering in such a confined space.

Dislike, THAT PLASTIC SHOULD NOT BE REMOVED as it is fixed by plastic underneath, both of them should be removed simultaneously , as they have lateral clips
