To be honest, I'm starting to believe that quiseañeras party's are more wild that American wedding's. I'm wrong? I mean in my quiseañeras party's we just dance reggaeton, salsa an.bachata till 3 a.m with a bunch of "conocidos" like the friend of the friends of your third cousin. And actually family have an "after party" in my house till the next morning

Just a few days ago I went to one of my cousin's wedding, it was beautiful, she married her childhood sweetheart, all the tías were crying and I shit you not, there were over 200 guests. I had to go home early (at 4am dammit) but my mom told me that they stayed til 6am, went to eat ceviche, had to be kicked out of the cevichería cause my other cousin was making a bit of a havoc, went to the grooms parents home to keep up the party and only then she came home. At 12pm. Man, latino parties rock.

I feel you about the wedding. My wife had me organize two things...transport for our guests from the restaurant to the church and back, and the music...I felt lost, discouraged and desperate throughout my organization. I can't imagine how she felt organizing the rest.
