This video is about using the loader from different views and shifting from forward to reverse. I don't know if it is any faster than a hydrostatic or not. Also using the box blade to move some dirt.

I’m looking to purchase a 3025D as well. The sweet sound of a diesel matched to a standard transmission.

I also appreciate your dedication to the videos. Recently acquired a 3025d myself and your videos are a very helpful resource, helped resolve my decision on the geared transmission

Thanks for making these videos. I enjoy them. I'm looking at getting the 3043d. Same as yours just more horsepower. I think your literally the only one who is making videos with a D series john deere. Good job with the editing. I wouldn't change a thing.

I think the 3D series tractor is a better built tractor than the 3e also. I don’t want hydrostat and the aluminum front and rear isn’t near as strong.

Looks like it does what it's supposed to, I don't know if it's quicker than a hydrostatic but it's a hell of a lot quicker than a shovel and wheel barrow 👍

I have a 3025e. The hydro is a little faster but not significantly. It is simpler and you get finer speed control. Trade off is pulling power especially with the lighter rear end of the E versus the D. The D will out pull the E any day of the week. I have really enjoyed your videos, keep it up.

I researched a ton and ended up with a 3046R. The hydro is super simple and super easy. Its great when very fine control is needed. I have been leveling a site for my barn and think I would have gone mad by now clutching and reversing. This is my first tractor. I did operate a 5090e with power reverser, but I feel the hydro in the 3 series rocks!

Glad to here, I know there is a lot of people are on the fence on gear vs hydro. With feed back like this people can make their own decision on others experiences and knowledge. From what I have heard of is if loader work is something that will be done a lot then the hydro is the way to go.

Another vey nice video ! Thank you for the tip about 4 WD. I have been fighting with it on my 3043D. I also have a lot of sand so I know what you are talking about. Yes a bucket level indicator would be helpful. I am using the same gears you are for loader work . LOL

Have the same tractor, 3025D as RSM Stuff and have same issue coming out of 4WD. Anxious to try your tip! I agree on the bucket level indicator. Would be nice.

As much as I love the 3025d I think I need the 3025e... biggest complaints on the d series is the un synchronized gears and no live pto. I grew up brush hogging with an old Ford super dexta, shift gears on the go, I mean no left hand reverser, but still to shift on the fly for what you were doing is nice. I also don't know why there isn't a live pto, it's not new technology, that old super dexta had a live pto press the clutch 90 percent down for shifting and the last 10 percent of the clutch was for the pto. I'd want a 3025d so I hope the next generation they change these. Good video, nice full buckets, hope lumber goes down as well.

I don’t have anything to compare it to since the smaller Kubota I owned previously was similar on the PTO. I do understand and never thought about it when I purchased this tractor. I’m glad to get the feedback and info from everyone since I’m not an expert or had as much experience with tractors as everyone else has. By doing these videos I have learned things from everyone and will continue to take advice and tips. Thanks for the support of my channel.

I was really disappointed Deere didn't put a syncro 4 speed in these after driving a LS with one. I ended up with a 3025E. I have worked my Deere really hard pulling a 84" leveling drag in soft sand (outdoor arena).... bucket full of sand, park brake 2 clicks up to lock diff and spinning all 4 R1 tires at times, the hydrostat was still cool enough to touch, that means it was under 135*f. While I do appreciate gear tractors, at least the 3025e seems well built.
@rsmstuff3178 Жыл бұрын
That is good to hear and it would be nice to have the syncro on the D.

Just bought the 3025e. Finding it hard to know if I am working with it or playing with it. What you think?

A little bit of both. Sometimes it is like a big kids toy.

Didn’t know you could change your big gears while clutched and moving.. They say you can shift toward and reverse while clutched and still rolling but read the book and it says to stop and shift. I will say with my 35D in 4 wheel drive I don’t think that 5 foot box blade could get enough material to ever stop it it will sure enough pull for small tractor.
@rsmstuff31783 жыл бұрын
I probably shouldn’t switch to high gears while moving since they are not synchronized. That is something I don’t do often. I did leave it in 2nd after a couple try’s. Going to low gears I do stop before switching.

@@rsmstuff3178 yeah I still can’t get video on here for anyone to look at if they want info about 3 point hitch problem that I had. Seems it’s a bit common JD will fix it tho or they’ve recognized it as a problem.

Go the speedometer app on my phone it bounces between 10 and 11 mph. 4th gear, high range, WOT.
