Taking a break from warthunder, so I have to find another Russian pain simulator to hurt myself with

Bought it recently and while everything covered in this is actually fun, I'd say the lack of directions in the maps is very annoying and IMO unnecessary. I have no idea what the extraction points are called nor what they look like. To me it's a huge entry barrier that gatekeeps newcomers from the fun aspect of the game. I say this because I also bought a game called Zero Sievert which is pretty much 2d top down single-player Tarkov and the fact that it gives you a map and tells you where to extract is a huge QoL aspect that so far has made that game a lot more fun and engaging than Tarkov even if EFT is the game that sounds more appealing on paper.

Just as quickly as you can lose an entire kit, you can gain 2 or 3 more. Just remember that!

@@JonnyBooSock I suppose the more I practise too the more I’ll have a chance to get those kits. So far I think I’ve only gotten one pmc kill

@@thebulletkin8393 Honestly best thing to do when learning, is learn where pmc's spawn and where the hot zone are. That way you can avoid most pvp and go to the less popular loot spots to get loot and make money, then kill the scavs on the way to extract.

Let's be honest, it's a nightmare as a beginner at first haha. But if you enjoy the learning process, it really just gets more and more fun. Good luck!!

@@JonnyBooSock yup, the learning curve is what got me in to this game. You can never really know everything the game has to offer and that's what fascinates me!

It's meant to be very difficult in every aspect, and unlike other shooters. It isn't meant to hold your hand, have maps, have instructions, etc. You need to figure it out on your own or research it online. That is half the fun 🙂

For a controller to be available for a game you need to have very few keys to press, Tarkov is too complex for that to happen, it's not as casual as MW2.

Why would you wanna play with controller anyways and why do you still play COD ? lol
