A moderately successful KZfaq personality receives an unexpected financial windfall, and is convinced to sponsor an Xfinity Series team by a schizophrenic man whom would later go to jail for stalking his girlfriend. The ensuing venture accidentally reveals the non-existent ROI of sponsoring a professional race team, and at some point he sends dick pics to underage girls. Yes, this really happened in a professional auto racing series, and it wasn't that long ago.

Wonderfully put and said video. I knew him from the nascar 09 lobby days in 2010. Hanged out with him a ton online and in xbox live chat. I knew he was a little awkward but didn't think anything of it cause of his autism. I personally feel like after his dad died something changed in him to feel so inclined to burn money in the way that he did. He had it all and blew it just as quickly. The whole situation personally hurt me a lot cause, this is someone i hanged out with a lot. I always have trust issues with people and this just reminded me to be careful who i talk to.

Seems like once his dad died, realized life was short and tried to make up for lost time binging on video games by blowing a ton of money and living large as a NASCAR sponsor. Unfortunately, was conned into spending the cash in the worst way by Jacoby. Got addicted to the lifestyle, started getting more and more ambitious in chasing after girls with his newfound confidence. Did it in the worst possible way and only chased after girls who were mentally the same age he was. It's messy.

I think the worst Joseph ever could've been charged with is indecent exposure to a minor - which even then it wasn't done in person but through online messaging. I'll never understand why he went after ladies just under legal age, he avoided the question when it all came out. That Dustin McGee guy was very invasive and already had his own criminal record, so it didn't surprise me. Zachary quit his channel immediately, which sucks... he shouldn't have had to. Joyce did a lot of great things vicariously through her kids, and she had great intent; but the sponsorships went to waste as they only brought in like 15 viewers per stream on Twitch before just shutting it all down in like 2019. She sent me a PS4 in 2016 so I could actually participate in their streams I was moderating, but didn't want me telling anyone. It is the same one I still use these days, though.

I'm going to come across as super insensitive for saying this, but I'm not understanding why you'd "look up to" a sperg playing NASCAR PS1 games on KZfaq. Us normies/quasi-normies can spot autistic dudes from a mile away. When I'd search old NASCAR games and N2SC4R would come up as the first result, I recognized immediately that it was a sperg playing old vidya and basically had no interest in watcing, let alone becoming part of his "community." I'm very curious as to how people didn't immediately recoil. In some cases maybe it proves we are a very accepting community, but like, there were significantly better and more mature KZfaqrs to follow.

General consensus is his dad's death messed him up. It's very unfortunate that he didn't have good people around him when he came into the money. A good friend would have pushed him into a few smart investments, set him up with a nice girl, or encouraged him to stretch that money as far as possible. Instead he was surrounded by young children who only knew of him through KZfaq, and Jason Jacoby who was a schizo.

@@AustinOgonoski His dad's death sent him over the edge plus his behaviors and such he sounds slow and that would be even tougher on a person like that. I've never lost a parent but I lost my sister in 2015 in a car accident and it was hard to adjust especially the first year or so after that happened. The world can stack against someone at their lowest point but I got threw it. I thank God I had my mother and some other folks to help me through. As you said if Joseph had that support maybe he wouldn't have made those poor choices later on down the road. Again I believe in forgiveness if he found his way that would be great but I do mean this, its good to see people legitimately pointing out the bad apples to people. This world has gotten much darker in the last few years so its good to see people pointing out the land mines per say. I just have very little respect to anyone that targets a kid sexually. The worse thing is I've seen so many people use the saying "Love knows no age" when defending pedophiles. Now we are seeing some crazy areas in the US wanting to lower the consent age down to even 10. They use Islamic traditions of child weddings as proof for it could work and so on. Real messed up stuff. I think anyone that wants to help and prevent those issues are good in my book Austin. Joseph reminds me of Jason in a sense of without a father figure in their life they lost control. But at the same token they eventually are gonna have to accept some responsibility for their deeds and try to learn from it. I have seen some of your stuff Austin where the Iracing community wanted your head yet you were validated on the game play and so on. I do have a request but would you do a video more in depth about the Iracing announcer that was accused of molesting family members I do believe? I've heard some about it but never the whole story and hearing it you can grasp the story better than just forums and so on.

Great video. Joseph was probably one of the first youtubers I followed (if not literally the first) as I was getting into NASCAR gaming and wanted to know how good those games were. And, at least for my 13-14 year old self, he was really entertaining to see to me, specially with his "career mode" videos (it was basically season mode with a created team various times, but still). Then around 2016 I slowly stopped watching him as my interests began to change and that year's NASCAR game was particularly bad. But I still remember everything that happened with his dad, and how he was around in many races and even was friends with Ryan Vargas at some point. And then all of a sudden I see all the accusations and dick picks pop up (quite ironic, after his favourite driver won the championship), as well as some things people on Twitter pointed out from previous videos of his (like having Hailee Deegan's 18th birthday marked in his calendar, for example). And since then it's like he dissapeared and besides those legal threats he hasn't even been heard from since November 2020 (not even any updates on his legal situation). No videos from him or his brother, who had a channel named Mangum05 which was basically a classic car channel that overtime expanded into gaming. It's a shame everything that happened. I also agree that what happened with his dad changed him for the worst. Didn't know about he being friends with Jason Jacoby though.

Well, since I'm here, I'll let you all read this : I was once a mod for Lombard Bros Gaming. I usually don't talk about it, but it was because of Lombard Bros. Gaming, I've met awesome people who i call my friends even to this day. I'll try and make this short : After I was unmodded from LBG after the spring Martinsville 2018 race (if you remember the 2018 season, it was baaaaaad in the first half and ramped up to being awesome in the 2nd half) due to my griping about how the season was going with Kyle Busch and Kevin Harvick taking win after win, I slowly started to distance myself from LBG. There was no ill will towards them, I just wanted to focus on my own stuff. I very rarely showed up to their streams. and then I loosely heard about what happened in November of 2020 through a friend of mine I met through the Lombard Bros. Gaming channel, but never got the full story. Nor did I ask. And I really didn't think about it until now. I knew it was bad. But it didn't know it was *that* bad.

This is entirely shocking to me. I remember stumbling across his channel very quickly when I really got into watching NASCAR gaming videos on youtube as I didn't have a console at the time. Clicked on the video because the name in the title was so familiar but I was like "there's no way he was a sponsor and I didn't know." Unfortunately it seems every great and fun channel from youtube's golden age as I call it has a horrific and spiraling downfall.

I used to love Joseph's videos such as his NT2004, NASCAR 15, and the Vs. Zachary videos even though his career videos would get boring bc he would win a lot and become op. It's sad to see once arguably one of the best NASCAR KZfaqrs now fade into obscurity all bc he was trying to hook up with girls 10 years younger than him. It's sad to see someone like this do such a thing bc I liked him he seemed like a generally good dude even though he did some weird things from time to time but I never thought anything of it I just thought of them as random or sometimes funny but little did we all know what would eventually become of Joseph. So long Joseph, may the NASCAR community remember you as formerly one of the best NASCAR content creators now a creep and a pedo we don't associate with.

I mean the thing with Nature's Bakery and SHR, if a company that a consumer can walk into their local grocery store and buy their product and they end up sponsoring a major NASCAR Cup Series team with actual celebrity Danica Patrick as the driver and they aren't happy with their ROI, then of course the small KZfaq channel sponsoring a Xfinity team that's mid pack at best isn't going to do any numbers

6:57 The reason why it wasn't ruined was, ironically, BECAUSE of this very reason. No one really gives a shit about the companies who sponsor teams or participants in any sport, generally, full stop (Remember when Commodore was the Jersey Sponsor for Chelsea F.C a couple of years before they went bankrupt, remember how Rich Energy got into F1 and the BTCC? And remember when a Nigerian 419 Scammer killed Tom Walkinshaw Racing[TWR] within 3 years?). Lombard's obscurity coupled with the fact that his checks didn't bounce when payday came calling was how he got away with it for over a year.

Might as well chime in my experience with Joseph since everyone else is doing it. I never knew Joseph personally but I did have some interactions with him that did not help his case with me. I discovered him in 2015 when one of his NASCAR '15 videos popped up in my recommendations one day. His videos got me into console gaming and I got an Xbox One and Forza Motorsport 6 for Christmas that year. I watched a lot of his videos until about 2017 when I started to lose interest as my sense of quality content was maturing and his videos got boring and generic compared to others. I still watched the occasional video if I found it to be really interesting. I created a Twitter account in 2017 and followed him on there just because I could. In 2019 he got involved in a heated argument between me and JettMDK (Who I despised at the time and I still dislike him to this day) and tried to shut me down. Of course I was never going to budge as I'm the type to fight all the way until the end. But after that day I unfollowed him on Twitter and unsubscribed from his KZfaq. I only support people that don't try to be the hero by being childish. I'm a voice of calm and reason. I had a grudge on Lombard ever since and hoped that one day he could be taken down a peg. That day came on that fateful day in late 2020. To think that I defended Joseph when he got "exposed" for being a "pedophile". Just shows how much of a cesspool Twitter had become and still is. But after the dick pic news came out I thought it was for the best that Joseph left the scene. I feel Joseph got way further than he should've in the NASCAR digital world. Apparently he was on a podcast and was a commentator on the NORC iRacing series at one point. Yes very deserving of someone who makes content that is average at best. I'm not saying my content is any better but his shouldn't've gotten him as far as it did. But he's gone now and I don't see him ever coming back, and imo that's a good thing. There are now plenty of other NASCAR gaming channels to fill the void. My favorite of them all is Micheal Mrucz as his videos are top quality and his style of comedy and humor just doesn't exist in anyone else.

Joseph was the first KZfaqr I watched regularly, like i vividly remember being at school and waiting to get home and watch a video he uploaded. as time went on i kinda slowly stopped watching his videos anyway i had some things going on in my life and there was a couple months that I was away from youtube (right around this time things went to crap with him) when I came back months went by and I remembered his channel one night when i was feeling kinda nostalgic so I searched his name on youtube and found out that he was a complete moron. I think I will always be a little unhappy that i feel i wasted so much time watching his videos.
