We are a couple who are building our own home from the ground up in the mountains of West Virginia. After living near the city our entire lives we finally decided to sell it all, pack up our 3 kids and live in an RV on our 73 acres while building our own off-grid house and learning to live a more self-reliant life.
Our house build is documented entirely on our main channel "Wild Wonderful Off-Grid". This channel is dedicated to short vlogs showing our life outside the build.

Erin and Josh as I age close to 70 I really enjoy my moment as I watch life true life in the both of you. I live in Baltimore and as I experience the day to day moments you share I wish I could as Josh has found a wonderful soulmate as you Erin. Need to open up that road in to the place with a dozer. You want the fire department to be able to get their biggest rigs in to your place! Plus, a shady road is nearly always a wet road.

Few months ago I took my brand new Jeep off roading in the Colorado Mtn's and of course after a few days of it, it's now the proud owner of what I like to call "conifer pin striping" - But I guess in a Jeeps case it's sort of like a badge of honor! -- Love the videos on this channel as much as the other! Surprised the view count/subscribers is so much lower -- They don't know what they're missing I guess!

Her adorableness just brings a smile to anyone’s face especially when she tries to describe the ice cream she wants. I spoil 2 of our triplets usually once a week at DQ. Our other boy Brayden doesn’t eat ice cream. Once he was diagnosed with Autism he stopped eating ice cream

Twenty minutes of smiling. From you and your family and me. "Ellie, did you get enough sprinkles?" Love that you share these family moments with the rest of us. An electrical fence is a wonderful tool. I had the 'invisible fencing' for my rottweiler who thought she should be able to stroll the neighborhood. One hit is all it took. Never had a problem with her leaving the yard. Take care and be careful with all that rock. Have a great weekend. Stay safe. 💖

I love these "a day in the life" videos, Those stones are they gonna be like Rosetta Stone layed on the side of the building? Ellie is soo funny gonna need her own chanel soon!, (ha-ha), she definitely is getting into fashion changing 3 times a day!!, and knowing what she wants, shes soo funny. Did you hear that 1st piglet when he got a Shock he said OOOhh shocking"!!. Thats a hell of a driveway to youre house, hope you never need an ambulance or firetruck, maybe if you do a sketch of directions to youre home and leave them with the local Firehouse just in case. I would get one of those cigarette lighter air compressors.. Who buys a dump truck and then worries about getting scratches on it.. that’s what they are for !!! Go to Harbor Freight when your in town, they sell a pallet grabber that “bites onto the pallet center board and allows u to hook a chain to it for easy pallet pulling.

Nice video love the look in the life of. So was wondering how we knew that the electric fence hurt then we heard the explanation. I bet Erin used a few choice words when that thing bit. We used them years ago when we raised horses and bordered the pasture with them. Every once and while we would brush against them. So now we know what the bottom of the house will be bordered in. This should be interesting.
