This has been an amazing week! Another low mileage Mercedes!!! This 300D only has 48,000 miles!!!

Wow, my back yard - small world! I helped a friend look at Dr. Wortman's '81 SD a few years back when he was selling it. Also very nice, but not as nice as this 123. We were in my '79 SD, my forever car, 93,000 miles, second owner, also purchased at MB Vancouver on W Broadway.

Hi John, always enjoy your videos and passion for these W123's. First W123 I have seen without a wrinkly door card! If anyone found a solution to the wrinkly door card issue every W123 owner would rejoice! .That car truly is beautiful!.

The solution to the wrinkly door card is to take off the door panel and detach that material re-stretch and glue it back on the door. The problem is you can also mess it up so that's why we never do it we just leave them alone.

ANOTHER fantastic score! I can certainly appreciate the Doctor's story concerning number of cars in the household. I've owned 11 MBz in my lifetime, yet I can't seem to ever get past 4 keepers. 🤣

Seems like all the cars you find are unicorns or you make them that. Hehe but seriously you really do outstanding job finding these cars and making sure they are showroom ready. There is no one out there that can touch your passion and hard work on these cars seriously.

It's definitely not easy to find these and I have to go to Great lakes to get them back to the shop but it's worth every minute.

I mirror Dean’s comments…it’s like a kid in a candy shop with you (and guys like us! ) Seems we bought the same hat at the Classic Center in LA…it has the FTX logo, which itself is going to be a collectors item😁 On all those wheels, are they all 14”, or are there any 15”? I’ll buy the 15’s for Schatzi if they are👍. I’m sure Mrs L. will get it home safely…the transporter that brought Schatzi here did a fine job! Looking forward to more videos on this great ‘85😁.

Hahaha yes we have the exact same hat I saw it in the video you sent me. Unfortunately those are all 14 inch wheels it's very difficult to find the 15 inch and if you do they run about 1,500 to $2,000 for a really good set.

What's custom? Is it another country or state?

This is a North American model 300D so the Canadian and the USA spec cars are identical. The only difference with the Canadian car is the speedometer is in kilometers other than that the cars are exactly the same.
