Motors with more than two wires have built in a pulser for finger pinching detection circuit. Two of them are always power to the motor anyway, as with two wire motors without pulsers. My 2004 Honda Accord uses 6 wires on driver’s side with AUTO, motor is connected to pin 1 and 4 of the plug, wire colors RED/BLK and RED/YEL. Only two wires go to the motor on other doors with no AUTO function.
