Evelynn really is a character in the game and this is her story: She started off as a shapeless being, barely sentient. When the world plunged into a chaos, known as the Rune Wars, she fed on the agony that was created and grew into something more, a demon, who fed on the basest of human emotions. All those negative emotions excited her and gave her pleasure previously unknown, so when the wars ended she was yearning to feel such pleasures again. By then she had the power to take on a physical shape so she took the form of many beasts, trying to recreate such agony. Mankind however feared her and so she wasn't able to properly get to her targets and thus, to be able to get close to them, she tried different forms, more alluring forms. Now she's roaming Runeterra, luring people in with the promise of ecstatic pleasures until it's too late and their pleasure is turned into pain, giving her a chance to once again relish in such delightful agony. But it is NEVER enough and she longs to once again plunge the world into chaos, to return to the times of the Rune Wars.
