I have 2 goals for the week: 1. Get in 250 steps each hour for 9 hours each day. My fitbit will make it easy to track, but it will take a conscious effort, and weekends will be hardest. 2. Decrease my carb intake. Get back to lean meats, veggies, and fruits. No snacking. About this time 2 years ago, I dropped 35-40 lbs just by being mindful of carbs and increasing activity. I have plateaued in the weight loss and want to get back in to the routine. Thanks for this, Adam! We got this!

Exercise is hard. I work so many hours - I can be at my desk for 12-13 hours (today I started at 7am and will stop at 8pm when system goes down) and when I’m done - I just want to sit and relax because soon it’s time for bed. STRESS, is major contributor too - both work and home life. I have high BP and high BMI - Drs orders are to exercise and lose weight. Had to go on meds for BP. Your blogs are so helpful and so relaxing to me - you have a relaxing quality to your voice. I just listened and I’m sitting at my desk working. I have to change my lifestyle so I am alive for my daughter. Thank you for the motivation to start with just a single step/change. I appreciate you and Kristen - thank you 💗😊

Thank you so much for sharing. I completely understand where you’re coming from. I have suffered from much of the exact same situations. It can be so so hard to make the first step when there is so much other live things going on. You are important! I know you have the strength and ability to meet whatever health goal you may have! I know because I was there! I felt helpless and like I could not do anything to change. Then I took that first step. And baby steps after that. It’s amazing how great you can feel knowing you are back in control! I’m here for you! You got this!

My goal for the week is to track what I’m eating. Face the truth, acknowledge my struggles and make better choices. Be accountable. I also want to get outside and walk/run 3x this week. Thank you for these videos Adam! It’s refreshing to have an influencer being honest and saying this journey is HARD. We’re all in this together and we will reach our goals. My family is coming to Disney in May. Sure hope we can cross paths when we get there.

I’m in the same boat, Adam. I started last week fairly well, but then the weekend hit:( I told myself I was going for a walk when I got home this afternoon. Unfortunately, the TV and couch won over. So, after watching your blog, I’m putting my shoes on to walk. Thanks! I want to stay on my diet plan this week and add more walk days. You’ve got this, Adam! I’m really proud of you!!

Good motivational video Adam. Thank you. I was going to sit back and rest this weekend after our whirlwind week at Disney. I will now do a treadmill 5K today and tomorrow just to defeat the mental demons that tell me to sit and do nothing. It was great to see you and Kristen again last week. Please keep up the good work. I have a huge issue with not eating during the work day or drinking enough water. Even though I’m late to the party, I’m going to commit to being better about that the rest of the week. Lots of times my schedule is so busy that I don’t get to eat lunch until 4-5pm…not exactly the best and I’m sure my metabolism isn’t the best with the wayward way I eat, so let’s do this!! 🎉🎉

I have to get to the gym everyday per doctor’s orders to get 150 hours of cardio in a week. Had a heart attack back in August and had a stint put in. So now I have been on a crash diet and more cardio

Adam, since the last stream I have started walking again. I have other health issues that has kept me from exercising regularly. I had a doctor's appointment last Wednesday and I had a good report so I am determined to start back full speed with my walking.I unfortunately am a sweet a holic. I am leaving it out for the rest of the week . You inspire me so much. Thanks for all you do❤.

My hard thing for this week is to finally stop drinking regular soda. I've been lessening how much I drink of it the last few weeks but I was still having some each night with dinner. So I just poured out the remaining third of a 2 liter bottle of soda I had left in the fridge into the sink so now it's all gone. I won't buy any more soda at the supermarket this week and I will avoid drinking it when I go out places and choose beverages like water & seltzer instead. Thanks again for doing these vlogs, Adam. It's so hard to start making changes but 1 thing at a time is a great way to do it. Little steps can lead to big changes! Hope you enjoy your 1:1 time with Kristen this upcoming weekend. You both deserve it.

My goal this week is to get 8 hours of sleep each night. This is a struggle for me. First because I enjoy relaxing watching tv and also because of the stress of my daily life struggles, my new normal. So my goal is to go to bed at the same time each evening to get my body acquainted with falling asleep easier. Hopefully.

Hi Adam. Great job on making the choice to do that Friday 5k! I used Kristen’s 5k for my own Saturday morning. I have the house to myself tonight so I will be on the treadmill again tonight. Remember your Why and those decisions will be easier! (Or at least less hard 😉)

Rough week this week but started taking lunch even though I have access to free restaurant food. It is not all healthy. This next week at least two days(already did Monday) of healthy sandwich from home and when I eat at work fruit cup for the side. I eat way too many fries.

@@ParkPassTVIn our area are parks have special hikes in the spring and in the fall. In the spring we earn a pin and in the fall we earn a shield for the walking stick we earned on our first hike. I used to do them with my grandson but he's got a job now so I'm on my own now.

Go to the gym an extra day.i usually do 3 days a week want to do 4 days this week.and mine and my boyfriend are doing an extra challenge to cook a pizza once a month cause that's our favorite thing to eat.

For religious reasons Adam my son and I gave up sweets for a whole month so that’s a little challenging but we can do it. We understand you and your challenges. Thank you for sharing your story. Believe it or not but these types of blogs motivate me a lot.
