Today's video is a 5 week post op update on the surgery I had on June 9, 2016. When I filmed this it was July 14, 2016. It's been a difficult recovery so far. It's be a rollercoaster, with each day being completely different. Some days I feel that I'm making progress, while other days feel like 5 steps backward. It's all a part of the process though. I just wanted to share my journey through this to hopefully comfort those who may be going through something similar. Through this recovery, I've learned that everyone heals differently. Don't compare your journey to someone else's because your body may heal slower and that's okay. Even though it's been rough, I am hopeful that I will feel relief in coming weeks and months.
