i am a 44 year old fat Black american woman who found your channel a few months ago and have been here ever since. i’m not a runner or music student, just someone who wants to move on a regular basis and loves pilates reformer. not exactly sure what it is about your videos that resonate with me but i’ve enjoyed your humor, the editing of your videos and your friends you’ve shown here and there. now in this video you’ve touched on multiple things that really interest me so i’m looking forward to 2024 - mobility, dumbbells over barbell (i recently put down the barbell too and trying to be ok with dumbbells), swimming (i want to learn to swim next year) ironman (i have a good friend who has done them for years) and not being the best at finances (ME!!!!). glad i found you and here’s to more in 2024.

I haven't watched one of your videos in over a year but I am very happy I clicked on today's upload! There was a point where you were doing too many challenges and I felt disconnected with your content. It was nice to see a grand update on your ventures c: personally I loved the style of your video today and enjoyed how honest it felt 💕 thank you and I am excited about your running ventures as I just picked up running recently and I am considering challenging myself to run half a marathon next year and then hopefully a marathon in 2025! Thank you for bringing "a little light" into your viewers day!

I’m so hesitant to follow “influencers”, but your humorous yet reflective self awareness coupled with actually meaningful information keep me coming back. Keep doing what feels right for you, because that’s what keeps us coming back for more. You don’t need us to tell you; you’re gut until this point has guided you well, so keep listening to that intuition. You’ve got this.

I have a dark skin tone (similar to Lupita Nyongo) and I LOVE Murad Invisiblur SPF 30!! It doesn't leave a cast AND it's a mattifying primer in one! Supergoop doesn't leave a cast but it makes me look oily which I'm not a fan of. I don't wear makeup but the invisiblur makes my skin look poreless!

I too have a dark skin tone (somewhere between Oprah & best-friend Gayle … hmmm, maybe Taraji P Henson???). Anyway, the Supergoop “Every Single Face” works really well for me w no white caste. But I also absolutely use a mattifying primer afterwards - Smashbox original “smooth & blur” or Fenty Beauty (the medium one). I then put on under-eye concealer, do my brows/lashes w mascara, etc and my makeup lasts all day - I don’t have to do touchups!

Oh man the discussion of not really wanting to do the sport you used to be really competitive in - it hits! Former figure skater here, and people are often surprised that I don't really have a desire to be involved in the sport at all anymore. I too find I get a little bummed out and depressed that I'm not as good as I once was - and that's okay. New shit, new me. But yes, always like an excuse to show off with friends haha

After nearly 4 years of work, I'm going into 2024 debt free. As an ADHD person, it's very difficult for me to stick to a plan for any length of time so I'm more proud of myself for doing it than I expect anyone else to be. My next chapter will bring a shorter hairstyle, more internal reflection and saving money to buy a newer car.

2023 was the year I was diagnosed with depression and anxiety. I've frantically been trying to implement new habits but not going about it correctly. My attention span is gone and I have poor self discipline. In 2024 I want to create the best version of myself. Having a workout routine I stick to, no matter what, stop picking my skin, changing my relationship with alcohol, feeling more organised and capable of performing better at work etc. That's a big reason that I am loving your content at the moment, it's great inspiration.

you should call the series To My Future Self, because you always end your challenge videos with some insightful message and if you're thinking about being the best version of yourself I think those insights will double down on meaning. The title sounds cheesy but if you're all in it's just another reason to keep going! As you were talking about it I just thought of how important it is to write love letters to yourself, to keep your promises, to embrace, YOU, and that feels like what you're trying to do. Become the best version of yourself, and that starts with love and being true. Keltie, you are a bright light in the community, and you do bring joy and sunshine to youtube by just being yourself. I loved this video. I'm excited to see what 2024 brings. - I saw someone below say Discovering Keltie, and that is a way better name for the series- it also gives you freedom to change things up mid-year if something's not working.

Some ideas for the series: "Discovering Keltie," "Becoming Keltie," "Finding Keltie," "The Essense of Me," "My dream self," or "This is Me." I personally love "Becoming Keltie." This is who you are. I love how much more personable it is when you use your name. We'll watch the videos and maybe be inspired and cheer you on, but this isn't who we believe yourselves to be. It's you. You're not showing us the best version of us; you're showing us you. And we're here for it. Another great video as always. Keep it up! I'm looking forward to the new series.

Bring on the vlogs! Also, I started reading a book earlier this year... where author had the reader envision their "ideal self." And then she argued that we, all women, should completely abandon the goal of becoming her. BecUse humans are flawed, but it's in our flaws, in our pain, in our imperfections that we find common ground. That we learn empathy and build deep relationships with other people. If we were perfect, or our Ideal Self, we'd never have a need beyond ourselves - for God, for others - we'd be pretty self-sufficient. Now.... it might be a little extreme of a view, but I thought it was compelling. There is so much we can learn from choosing compassion for ourselves in our "mistakes" and in our shortcomings. And I think that you're someone who wants everyone to feel that they're loved and worthy, but don't always give yourself space for that. So just a little reminder that you don't have to be That Girl (cause really, who IS?) and you don't have to be ideal. Just keep being you.

Mobility is THE #1 important part of a workout! I made a huge mistake and dieted myself to obesity. I did everything wrong including the wrong kind of working out over the years destroying my skeletal muscular organ. Now between my weight and lack of muscle I am in so much pain it is not even funny! I can't even get things like cleaning my house done. Yesterday I started Physical Therapy, and we are working on getting my mobility back, helping me with stability, and flexibility, along with getting my weight off. I started really researching the subject and found out that building up your skeletal muscular system is not only important to mobility strength, and weight loss, but also for the prevention of Dementia in your older years.

I love the idea of spending 2024 altogether becoming the best of ourselves. You said that it's like "becoming that girl" without the connotations that there's someone else we should become, my thought for a title is somewhere along the lines of "becoming us" or just "becoming" more like we are all with you on just being who we are more and more.

Hey Keltie! So glad to hear you are infusing self care and trying to balance your life by adding what you enjoy:) I totally relate.. Is it the year of Keltie? After decades of working 12 hour day and night shifts, taking care of my mother her and my home and my family, I have declared 2024 the year of me! I retired from my job, my mother passed and I am shifting my focus to what I need and want instead of what needs to be done. There is some re adjustment required from the people around you, but eventually they will realize that the word no doesn't need to come with an explanation. Good luck with your musical pursuits. I look forward to hearing how it's going. As for your weekly downloads, Do them whenever it fits your schedule. You can't satisfy all of the people all of the time. And isn't it what is great about you tube? I can watch you whenever i want🤩

I’ve watched you for a long time now I feel, maybe 3 years? 4? I’m not as consistent watching as I’m not online a lot, but Man! I must say your hair has improved SO much! Bravo! I know it was an awful period there for awhile, you helped me break my dry shampoo habit and my hair improved as well! Can you please list the products for us ? I’d like to try them, I have similar hair to yours for texture and thinness, but your video today shows how good they are working! ❤ I think there needs to be a balance of day to day vlog, to challenge, to infomercial type content, and maybe add the occasional music blog type showing us that part as it is a big part of your life. Us long time watchers love our weekly? upload, I binge watch when back into online lol, so I watch like 2 months worth and than I’m back in the bush for work lol 😂 Just want you to know you have and do bring light to my life, ☀️✨🌟⭐️ and better hair! 😂LOL ❤

LOVE seeing this side of you! GRWM's are my jam lol. Will be looking forward to your 2024 content! Esp the financial and free-flowing-creativity-and-shining-personality vlogging bits. :) My '24 goals are a lot like yours, as well. I'm thinking my "theme" for the year is self enjoyment. Feels like I've lived my whole life for others, and this past month has been the most eye opening yet. Turning 28 in January, and this year is mine.

I saw your IG story about this video being uploaded early and your comment about the thumbnail so I came on to have a peek at it in case you changed it. I'm so happy I came back today and its still this random image of you and Swedish fish! I love the chaos of it!!! ❤❤❤

I would love to see you do the Dopey Challenge at Disney World! You run the 5k, 10k, half then the full over 4 days. I’ve done it twice and it really was so rewarding and SO much fun!!

People hear that I used to play basketball for 11 years and then they asked when I last did hoops or what ever and I go with a straight face: "I haven't touched a basketball in 7 years and I don't really want to." Right after I quit, I didn't touch a ball for like 2-5 years. And you're right, it's not the same anymore but part of your brain hopes that you lost nothing with the years.

I feel like I've been trying to "better myself" since I was a child, and now I'm 35 and still on that path. I like the idea of a "that girl" series and may do my own "that girl" challenge in the next year. Somewhat related, here are a few books I've read that may fit into some of the topics you covered in the video: - Profit First, by Mike Michalowicz (specifically money/business finance). I like the Kakeibo method for personal budgeting, but Profit First is great for business budgeting. - Living Forward, by Michael Hyatt. Definitely fits into your next series, he talks about writing a life plan (think business plan, but for your life) and then setting annual goals based on this plan.

I would looooove some honest finance vids in 2024! As a person who has also struggled with money in the past and not having good habits I think it would be great to see finance content from a non-financial KZfaqr. Ive watched all the people who are good with money and now I want to hear what works and what doesn't from somebody who has ups and downs with money and for whom being financial isn't a big part of their personality. Ideally I would love an honest breakdown of what you make and what you spend and what methods you employ for budgeting, sticking to a budget and your future financial goals.
