Yeah that’s gonna look good on the car. I’m not chasing 7 seconds. I’d be happy with somewhere in the 11s with my big heavy couch. Cheers Andrew

I have a victor jr with the low profile edelbrock intake manifold. The elbow says it allows the 90mm tbody. I read i have to get a 5.0 tbody. Any advice what to do.? Trucks almost stock besides pi swap. Would a 75mm fox body tbody work?

Bad news is the short runner length robbed all your lower end torque and shifted it to the 5000+ rpm range.
@andrewlavender083 жыл бұрын
Good thing this engine doesn’t live below 5k rpm....
@whpony963 жыл бұрын
@@andrewlavender08 So you rev it up to 5000 rpm all the time and dump the clutch everywhere you go?
@andrewlavender083 жыл бұрын
It’s a drag raced car with an automatic transmission. I don’t care how much power or torque it makes below 5k rpm. All about the high end high rpm power
@madmod Жыл бұрын
@@whpony96 Bad News??? The whole point of going to a short runner is to trade off the less usable bottom end torque for sustained power on the top end where its needed. You cant possibly believe the loss of low end is so detrimental to drivability youd be clutch dropping at 5k lol. Im not saying you wouldnt notice the difference down low but whos going WOT in high gear at low rpms anyways? Even a stock 2v, shifted at stock shift points, will only see below 4k rpms on the launch when drag racing
