Looking good man. A trick I have used for years with high temp engine and grill paint is to take a hand propane torch and heat up the metal until you see the moisture come out of it, then spray. I bake that coat with the torch until it’s almost burnt, spray again, dry it with torch until no gloss is visible, then spray and let air dry. It will look brand new for years. Did a buddy’s motor like that once and after 11 years, it was still shiny ford blue and all he did was hit with the steam wand at the the shop.

I used the same brand paint on my 90 gt and used the heat gun method you did but i used the satin high heat and on my bbk equal length chrome headers it bubbled up in a few bends on them but it hasn' t come off yet but i guess its just because they are such aggressive bends on those kind of headers maybe not sure but i loved the way that paint worked too next time im going to try the flat black like you used if the headers worn' t already on the car they make great torque but there hard to get back on with ac lines on probably impossible. But hot side looks great Andrew really like it. Oh ya i should have said that my headers have been painted for going on 6 months know and nothing has came off at all

Hey man been watching your videos and I am so glad you are repping that 1300 2v. People mistake these bad boys big time. The problem is people yack about the 2v but no problem with the 3v/4v? I don't get it, they all share the same thing minus cams in this case. Thank you for being a supportive and inspirational driver of a 2V. nothing sounds sexier than a good ol fashion 2v anyways and yes, the newer ones I'm not impressed.

I am having a 2v 4.6 built right now. All forged internals, ported and polished heads, stage 2 comp cams, vortech v3 intercooled supercharger. $23000 price tag. I am sick of people saying why haven't I done coyote swap. Well watching your videos, is the reason i did this build. Want to start with about 600 to 650, and go more hp down the road. I have a 2002 mustang gt. Any help on size of injectors and maf i should be using would be appreciated. Thanks

Love your videos!! I have a question i have the option of getting either a used trick flo intake or a bullit intake which one do you think would flow better after being ported? Or should I even port them. Or do you think I should just go with the same set up as you have with the edelbrock. I am in the process of doing a build very similar to yours.

You must know a thing or 2 about 2v's. What mods would a 2v Mustang need to get into the low 12's for the 1/4 ? Also what mods would make the 2v engine basically bulletproof?
@RegulerShowTV5 жыл бұрын
FII99IIF ` The stock connecting rods explode at about 400 hp, the stock pistons melt at about 500, the stock crank dies at about 600, so if you buy a cobra crank, forged rods and pistons, you’re good for about 1000 horsepower. The stock block can handle it pretty well. But upgrading the timing components, cams, and oiling and cooling system is required to stay reliable.
