The blazers the most beautiful gun I've seen in the single barrel rifle. The full length wood sets off any rifle in my eyes. The double and combo rifles embellishments are way above these but costs are too. I own an very old rifle bolt action 243 with full length stock and butter bolt. To me she's the best rifle I own , not the most expensive by far but ,, beauty is in the eyes of the beholder,,

Great video of some beautiful rifles! I don't own any Kipplaufs, but the falling block Farquharson-style rifles have a similar appeal. They are fantastic stalking rifles.

I have a Remington Spartan (baikal) in 243. Cost me £200 New. Off bags it does 1 1/2 inches at 100 yards a meopta 7x scope. That is a working man's gun. It's taken a few deer and I love it. I'd love a classy, expensive one. If I win the lottery

My thought exactly. And the Baikal IZH 18 (I assume the Remington also) can switch between a rifle and a shotgun barrel in a matter of seconds, which I think makes it a quite interesting weapon.

Talking about going back to basics Henry her in the US is also now making single shot rifles. Some have sold out really quickly. Tip open design but without(for now) any embellishment and for now wanting in some popular cartridges. For about $320 US with iron sights I think it's a steal. Nice rifle tho

Enjoyed your presentation. In fact I enjoy anything about a new single shot or combination gun on you tube. I do think there is a little misconception when it comes to single shot rifles however....About the "Ethics" Yes you do have to wait for that "Perfect Shot" but you really do so with a bolt action as well. At least when I hunt with a bolt action this is my take. A repeater does have the advantage in many situations...Such as when there are more than one small game animal present. With a single shot you bag one, with a bolt action you may bag 2....or 3! My favorite hunting arms are single shots and combinations...However I do hunt with bolt and lever action firearms on fair occasion. I do not hunt with any semi-autos....Why?? Nothing to do with ethics..They simply take longer to clean after use.

Handirifles are $200 in the US, hopefully not much more expensive to get them in Europe. Not as pretty, but for a real entry level break action they can't be beat.

@@flyboymike111357 The European have access to Baikal kipplauf if they want, probably the best cheap gun in the world because they are accurate even at 600m. People buy expensive guns because of its artistic value as investment. Also because of their gun law they choose to buy the best instead the cheapest.

best with a rimmed cartridge in it, 7x57r, 7x65r, 8x57irs . this prevent sticking to the chamber, better extraction and gas pressure.

Or you could just get a Ruger number one..... Fraction of the price... Falling block so it's significantly stronger... Just so you know. And you can find one chambered in anything. Why you ask? Because they've been made continuously since the 1960s, technically I think they ceased production during covid but so did everyone. And they're making them today, and if you read this 5 years from now, they're making them then. Not to mention they're frequent project gun, people get them and rechamber them. So yes you can get them in anything

Not a fan of that German hogback stock on the last 2. Three trigger settings? The overdesigned break action? More moving parts = more chances for malfunction & break

Well, I know that shotguns aren’t exactly the same but my browning citori cxt is considered to be a very base model competition shotgun and it cost us $2400. Probably would have been better to get a blazer f16 though as they are only about $1000 or so more expensive and they apparently blow the base Browning’s out of the water. I’m moving over to international trap from American trap and will be getting a better gun that is better suited to the discipline. The international trap guns will set you back at probably a minimum of $7000 but can quite easily move up to $20,000, though, around that the price and above will generally just go up based on more intricate engravings and gold inlays and better wood. These are all break actions so minus the rifling and lack of forcing cones and choke tubes, you are looking at something very similar. $2000 seems about right for this kind gun.

In America we call these Handirifles. They're very cheap, like $200 for the simplest versions which are manually cocked and can have their barrel exchanged for any caliber you can think of. The experienced hunter in North America will most likely use a falling block of some sort.
