I was at that KISS Palladium show; Bill Aucoin gave me my pass, which I still have from that night. I met Eric several days before that show outside behind the theater. I was introduced to him by a friend, Randy Paul (Randy Roxx). He told Eric my name, and Eric's character at that point was still a Hawk. Upon hearing my name, Eric said "Fox, huh?...wow, that's a cool name." Several nights later, his character was a Fox. Coincidence? Hardly. In 1982 while watching Steeler at the Roxy and hanging out with Eric, I asked him about that and he just smiled and winked.

You are right, the 70s were the hey day for Kiss, I also saw them numerous times around '76. You're a year older than me! In the 80s they were passe, no one really cared. I love listening to your stories! It brings me back to a time I wish I could go back to! Please keep them coming!

At that point in time, the Palladium was basically the biggest venue they were guaranteed to sell out. It was 3 years before they played the U.S. again.

Thin Lizzy came to be one of my favorite bands of all time. But I never saw them with Phil. I wasn’t huge into them in the 70’s and when the 80’s hit I was a big Prog head. By the time I settled in, it was too late Phill was gone.
