Simple embellishments you can make to add to your junk journals, scrapbook layouts, planner pages and more! I affectionately call mine, "kittybellishments." They often feature kistchy-cute animals or kids, along with vintage ephemera. :D
This video was shared in my Facebook Group, Kittywitty Junk Journalers. We are hosting a #comfortchallenge where we make quick, simple papercrafts during the cornonavirus stay-at-home period. These are great crafts to do when you are feeling anxious or don't have a lot of time (or conversely, when you have a LOT of extra time on your hands and need something to do!)

A simple formula for making embellishments:

I love a lot of junk journals I see on KZfaq.. However, I love your style the best. I started collecting vintage baby planters after seeing your craft room video awhile back. My favorite theme is vintage carnival and kitschy dogs Thank you for this tutorial !

These clusters are super cute. I don’t have a scallop punch but I used a flower punch, cut two flowers, and offset the petals. Not as cute as yours but it worked for me.

I LOVE your bright kitschy style and am so glad you started doing YT videos! Being a child in the early 1960s, these are so nostalgic for me! 😍 These would also be awesome for an altered paperclip, a tag topper or a corner tuck for upper corners as well. Might I ask, where do you find those adorable bright little bitty doilies?? Thanks for sharing your process!!

They are Doodlebug Design Mini Doilies. I actually went on Amazon today and they didn't have any! Not sure if it's bc of the current situation or not . They've always carried all the colors. They had a few colors at scrapbook.com and on simonsaysstamp.com. I hope they arent discontinued!! They are my favorite! Love the colors and quality and the 3 inch size! 🤗💕💕💕💕

Love these! I love how everything comes together so nicely. Thanks for sharing on KZfaq. I am not fan of Facebook, so appreciate you showing it here. I love printables and was wondering if you print yours on an inkjet printer or laser printer? The price of laser printers have gone down and considering investing in one. What is your opinion on printers, paper...? I’ve been binge watching your vids, thanks for sharing.

Thank you!! I print mine on an inkjet printer. It's not a fancy or expensive one (an older Brother printer). I have found what makes the biggest difference is the paper you print on! I use matte photo paper and make sure I've set the printing on my computer to be for "other photo paper" and "photo" quality in the settings box that pops up when you are about to print. I like Staples brand Ultra Premium Matte Photo Paper. It's more expensive than plain cardstock, but it makes a huge difference in the clarity and color saturation of images! Hope that helps! xoxo
