This is a fully decorated, ready-to-go junk journal! The vintage Little Miss Muffet cover is finished with fabric on the spine and back cover and features my signature Cheerful Charm Tassel.
Features:
-- 1.75" spine
-- 4 signatures
-- 180 pages, front/back
-- all of the pages are vintage, except for the scrapbook papers which are premium papers from Authentique ('Lovestruck' collection)
-- the entire original pages from the story are included, along with vintage pages from stationery, ledger paper, cookbooks, children's song books, magazines, Valentine card, envelopes, etc.
-- vintage sewing pattern envelope pocket
-- removable insert with sewn-on vintage handkerchief pocket (4 pockets)
-- vintage chenille pocket
-- fabric ruffles, trims, and tabs on many page edges
-- several pieces of ephemera that can be turned into mini journals!
-- lots of vintage ephemera
-- die cuts from Pretty Little Studio and fussy-cut printables from KB and Friends (on Etsy)
-- bottlecap charm page clip with a genuine Swarovski crystal bead and tiny tassel

I love your work! The entire Junk Journal idea is completely new to me, I found out about it by chance 2 days ago and I can't have enough of flipping-through videos. The creativity of people like you awes me. I never thought I could actually do something like this and be appreciated, It's been something I thought it could be done but just once and just for myself. And maybe it's like it will go, I have no plans. Just hope I'll be able to do something with my creativity that is, at the moment, ready to burst. I am working hard on the "preparation" side of crafting, being a perfectionist I am never happy enough with inventory, plans, schemes... Time to stop preparing and start doing. Congratulation, your book is a pearl!

What wonderful colors and designs! It’s so adorable! Sorry about your cut finger. The bandage didn’t look so bad to me. When you mentioned it, I recalled when another KZfaqr, Angela Kerr, put a piece of washi tape over a bandage on her finger. I thought that was so clever! 😉 Anyhow, whoever gets this journal will be very lucky!

This journal is adorable. It would have taken me more that 9 hours to do it. The cover probably would have taken me 9 hours to do alone. I don't do have the knack. I know it will sell quickly.

I know I am a year late to the party here ... 🤣 ... but outside of the Authentique papers, where do you find those darling children's book illustrations??? SOOOO sweet! Great book!!!

Hi! That's ok! 😄 I answer questions from any video no matter how old! The children's book illustrations are the actual pages from the Little Miss Muffet book that I used for the cover. I use the cover and the pages for my journals. I just take the book cover off the original spine and create a new wider spine and then incorporate the book pages among scrapbook papers and other vintage papers. I just get vintage books anywhere they sell vintage...antique shops, thrift stores, yard sales, ebay, etc. Please let me know if you have any other questions! Thank you for watching! 🤗💖💖💖

Hi Amy.... This is so sweet!!! I purchase a lot from KB and friends but I have not had any luck finding the chenille (is that how you spell it) pieces. Would you be willing to provide me with where to purchase that from? Still waiting for the kitty witty class for the sewing patterns. Do you have an ETA on that?

Hi Cindy! Thank you so much!! You can find chenille on Ebay or Etsy. There are many shops that sell it. I don't buy from just one shop. I just do a search and look that way! Do you add a sealant or modpdge or something to the front of your sewing pattern journals to protect and /or strengthen them ?

Hi Tamara! No, I don't seal them. I figure they've been around 50 or more years and they still look good, so I just leave them as they are! 😄 I have 2 that I use myself and they are holding up fine. The envelopes are lined on the inside which gives them strength, but I dont seal the outside. Also, my favorite pattern envelopes are Simplicity from the 50s and 60s and they actually have a coating already on them! They are the main ones I use and is another reason I don't seal them. Amy, where can I find the beautiful fabric you used in this journal?

Hi Rosie! Which fabric are you referring to? I used lots of different fabrics in this journal. Since it was a year ago, I can't recall where I got them all. I believe the fabric on the back cover was from a brand called Riley Blake and I bought it on Etsy. I may have even had that fabric for a couple of years. The fabrics for the page edge trims were all just different fabrics I found on Etsy. The chenille pocket was vintage chenille bedspread fabric. The insert with pockets on the front and back was a vintage handkerchief. Sorry I'm not more help! I don't remember the exact names of the fabrics or the sellers on Etsy I bought them from. I just search Etsy for cute fabrics! Hope you're doing well! xoxo Amy
