1:00 "Film is light sensitive." THAT'S the sort of thing it's taken me years of trial and error to discover on my own. 🤔 Specialized technical tips like this are why I'm subscribed to this channel - to learn the otherwise obscure facets of photography! 😏

I like how you wrapped 35mm film into a 620 paper and got panoramic sprockets! That's a fun way to use the used backing papers. It's extra pano when you do that on a 120 roll and put it into a 6x9 camera... 🙃

Fantastic video, friend! I had gotten stuck with my second roll ever of shooting on a duaflex (the first roll was loaded by the camera shop guy 🥲 and I didn’t pay close enough attention). You just taught me how to do it by myself! Yay! Thank you!

Even though the lens is hazy, I actually liked the pictures a lot. You basically shot the album cover for the band. So groovy! 0:31 "A-Ha!"

Love the versions of the DuaFlex with the the aperture settings and focusable lens. And you reminded me -- I need to order a batch of more 620 film to test out a bunch of various Imperial plastic-fantastic 620 cameras (no focusing here baby!!!!)....

I've got a Duaflex with a clear Kodar lens. It takes really nice pictures.

Does the film being paper-backed mean that it can be loaded into the camera anywhere, or does it need to be loaded in the dark?

Always best to low in dim light or shade (but the backing paper does protect the film)

You can also get a 120 Film and use some nail clippers to cut the overhang of the spool, so it fits - if the spool bump is too high - sandpaper it down a little. I used 120 in my duaflex IV without any issues after clipping the edge of the spool to fit better.
