I was totally unprepared for this! I didn't even consider cheesing the KSC on the same mission before recovery. The 4-in-one launch was a masterful workaround on the restrictions. I was wrong in my predictions, and that makes me even more excited for the rest of this series!

use a single flea to send you on a gravity assist off the mun, onto minimus then gravity assist off minimus onto eve that brings to back to kerbin to do even more gravity assists then brings you to duna, then ike then finally slingshots you to Jool.

3 things i loved - 1) putting apoapsis and periapsis right above the atmosphere. You are one of the only youtuber I know who sees the efficiency of doing such a thing. 2) putting approach periapsis for mun and minmus right above the surface, you dont know how much i love that. 3) burning horizontal almost immediately after takeoff from mun and minmus - that is also really cool. love your videos

The Swivel engine is probably my least favorite engine. And yes, that includes the Thud. The Thud has horrendous stats but sort of tries to make up for it in in being this wierd radially-mounted engine. The Swivel also has horrendous stats, but it's supposed to be the main Mk1 gimballing engine.

The Mun seems like a redundant destination tbh, with that dV you could have taken it to Eeloo instead, it shouldnt take any more dV than the combined mun-minmus trip and would provide more science (on the other hand it would be way longer of a mission). Im guessing youre doing Gilly, Pol and Bop with the remaining ones?

I am going to have more than enough research points, and as such the value of completing missions is very high. I got a set of missions to the Mun at this point that made going back a high enough value.
