I have a Portable Winches also great winch PCW5000.I also bought a couple of attachments yellow skidding cone and the Tree-mount winch anchoring system and winch support plate . The yellow cone is great not much stops it. Great video.

Fuel price here went to 2.60$... I still prefer using a diesel engine that is way more efficient than an old gasoline engine. I started logging a bit last Sunday. I was actually clearing the trails from the fallen trees. I should start logging for real before the end of the year. I prefer logging on frozen ground. That big puddle of water you get isn't going to freeze enough to safely run over it during winter... Is there any way you can have this water drain to a lower point? Would that be a very long trench to do? Or might you build a trail on a higher spot? I would be afraid to get water seeping into the front axle of that nice Kubota tractor... Thanks!

hI Jason good to see you back on again i going to write you earlier this year when you bought the kubota1100.[great machine] ive had alot of time on these machines not logging but spraying weeds but i have probably run the machine in more situations than you can think i just thought i could give you a few tips with the machine and the tracks your best friend and best tool to always carry with you is a track tensioner and a 9/16 s inch wrench i hope you never have to use it but if you throw a track they are all you need plus a bottle jack. The tensioner is cheap it just measures the tension on the tracks and the wrench is probably with the other5 that everyone loses[ along with the 1/2 inch ones ] lol also the kubota 1100 will pull your Kranman no problem with the tracks on it they pull really well. Ive used the 1100 for 5 years 5 days aweek 8 hours aday with a 1076 pound of chemicals in the back up hills on side hills[ thats where you could throw a track on the side hills] ive pullled a 550 ford flat deck with a 22 foot trailer that the front wheel caught a plowed snowburm that a grader left and wouldt let the truck come up out of the ditch and the kubota was on a packed snow covered road and pulled the truck out no problem. i have a hydraulic plow on the front of the 1100 that i use in the winter to plow approaches that the trucks cant plow because if they go to far on the approach they get stuck but with the 1100 if i cant backup i just drive it into the ditch and drive out front wards. just thought if you needed some info or tips on the 1100 just let me know cause ive probably been through it.
