Kyle Berkshire (long drive champion) breaks down his driver swing and reveals his long drive secret that allows him to hit over 500 yards.
In this golf lesson, Kyle Berkshire and PGA golf pro Kerrod Gray analyze Kyle’s world record swing. Looking specifically at the extension of his trail elbow in the backswing and the amount of side bend he produces in the downswing. This combination allows Kyle to create significant lag and transfer maximum force to the golf ball.

Awesome Kerrod and Kyle this is really different from what I've been watching on the techniques to hit it far (aka vertical GRF on the downswing) makes a lot of sense stretch and squeeze the trail abs/obliques and large ROM of the right (trail) shoulder as it is essentially a throw! I could watch that swing all day!

Great! I can feel it with a shaft on shoulders or single arm swing drills but yeah I have trouble doing it two hands on the grip but I can see it with Kyle DTL wow it looks awesome! Thanks again Kerrod!

I would like to know what causes the left foot to kick out. Does Kyle push off the left foot so hard that he is actually jumping off the ground and then body rotation takes it way left. Or does he just pick it up and move it to avoid torque on the knee.

As Kyle moves from backswing to downswing, he places an immense amount of pressure down into his left foot from which as he begins to rotate the pure amount of force into the ground pushes back causing his left leg to straighten and push away from the ball.

Truest and most depressing thing Kyle states is that his swing has hardly changed since he was 6 years old! great video tho Everyone at my club lower than my 5hcp started golf as weak kids there's a lesson im that Plus like ive learnt too, they can all bounce a ball on a wedge! most of you watching this video ie over 7 hcp cant! most wont get tat either

Studies have shown the Matthew Effect too, starting your kids late to school when they are bigger than other kids makes them get lots bigger and smarter!
