Love it! I want one. In my state, this is a motorcycle because of the power and speed, so please think about adding turn signals, reflectors, and a license plate bracket. 👍

Been riding ebikes for 7 years now. First was a conversion, 2nd was your ebike 2.4 frame and 3rd was very similar to this one but using Qulbix 140 frame from Australia with a 5000W motor and 19" moto tires and rims. Mine will do 58mph and it's scary but I loved it. I have about 700miles on the 1st one, 1200 on the 2nd and almost 2000 miles on the Qulbix so far. all my batteries are dead right now but I see on your store you sell the one I want. so thanks for the video. BTW. This was a very nice build. Great job. Gave me a few ideas for my next one.

Great video guys and Pavel has really turned out to be a great employee over the years, he’s got the building process down on your bike. Wish these had working pedals to fall in the ebike loophole for the states. Europe is not as Ebike friendly as it is here, so we really don’t have to worry about how powerful something is as long as it has pedals that can move the bike(even if barely) under human power;)

Same in Canada. As long as it operates as a Bicycle on demand meaning it can have removable pedals, and has the pedals on hand it is an E-Bike it also says in Canadian law however it can not have a shaft output power of greater than 500 watts mind you. But these get huge attention from cops constantly they are a disease now whereas converting a vintage Scooter the cops don't bother with em' they reckon it is not going anywhere in a hurry lol proper sleeper

Easy if you have a shop and all the tools and equipment. Not so easy if you live in an apartment complex.

we've had many customers build CyberBikes in their apartments or garages. Definitely helps to have tools already available, but we have complete lists of all the hardware needed for a project like this. The worst part would be lugging all the parts up the stairs of a complex (like the battery) 😅

Sounds like a you problem, it's actually a simple kit. It's all basic tools. You'd manage it on a coffee table. My shed is 5m² and I've built 4 bikes in it. The first battery I did, I did on the floor of my living room. Stop seeing problems and start thinking about the solution to it. Edit: looking back on this comment I actually just wanted to add that the top part is just supposed to be in a joking manner, sometimes I forget that that doesn't come across as easily in text format.

I've been riding electric on and off since 2013 and full time since 2019! Haven't started my Acura RSX in 4 years now accept to move it around the yard and change the oil. I'm thinking of converting it to electric and selling it..

Nice bike. And well, I completely understand the engineering advantages to moving the motor out of the hub. The thing I like the most that my E bike is the silence, which is why I would be real hesitant to move away from the pub motor to run with a chain, if the carbon fiber belt drives turn out to be great, that would be another consideration.

I see you improved your design and components over the years which is great. Ideas for a few areas of improvement, if you allow me: 1) Consider a double kickstand, please. This is a very heavy bike, kickstand like this is just too flimsy when the ground is muddy, sandy and so on. Besides this, a double kickstand gives you a chance to remove easily a front or rear tyre in case of a flat or something. 2) Consider an option to have the charger outside the bike. Imho this is unnecessary weight you are dragging all the time with you, decreases your range and and makes the bike bulkier and more difficult to handle. Not to mention having a 3kW charger in a non-ventilated area is not the best of ideas imho. 3) Consider having an adjustable current charger. I also have an RV (live in it actually) and having a 3KW inverter is really rare for guys like us. Not to mention you'll need to spread this load between at least 3xLiFePO4 batteries if you don't wanna kill them quickly. 4) This is probably a tough one but I gotta say it - consider having a removable battery. Makes loading/unloading activities in the van much easier. Also you can keep the battery in a well heated area during winter months which is not usually the case with your cargo area. I saw your build with the lifting bed - awesome but I think you'll soon realize you need this: www.24mx.co.uk/product/proworks-foldable-loading-ramp-180x21-cm_pid-PIA-48959 And this: uk.riskracing.com/products/lock-n-load-pro-strapless-moto-transport-system Your bikes are just way way too heavy to be left aside on the walls like this. You start hitting bumps on the road and they'll go on the ground, trust me. 5) Another thing that does not inspire much confidence in me is the swingarm. It looks a bit flimsy for such a heavy bike. If this bike goes mass production and people start jumping on it...I don't know. Now some questions: 1) Can you share tyre sizes and dimensions of the bike shown in the video? 2) Fork and shock models? 3) Not familiar with the Nucular controller but I guess you can program it for lower power settings? These 20-something kilowatts are just way too much for my liking :) 4) Max regen you achieved with this controller was about 40A, is this correct? I'm afraid this is a bit too low for a bike this heavy. Friends are using Torp TC500 on modified Surrons and regen is set to 70A at which point the bike starts dragging its tyres on steeper descents (which is not great either) but bikes are still much lighter than yours. I think 70A would be the minimum required for your bike for serious descents given its own weight. 5) What material is the frame made of, looks like steel to me? Keep up the great work and videos!

The bike is extremely light, not heavy. It's as light as the lightest enduros. Having a center stand on an enduro is a huge no-no. You never put a center stand on an enduro, always a side stand. The reason for this is the very reason you used to argue for a center stand. You can always use a side stand but you can only use a center stand on flat and stiff ground.

Just by looking at it I would guess that this are forks out of a 80/85cc dirt bike. Regarding the brakes, just use the ones that fit the fork. I think the most kost effective way of getting all those parts is to buy a donor bike with a blown engine.

Me thinking: There could be a real market for Yamaha Chappy or Honda Chaly sized electric mopeds especially within the van community, as long as they satisfy certain criteria: * length 145-157cm or shorter, 105-110cm wheelbase * seat height 71cm or lower. * collapsible (or rather, Reversible upside-down) stirring fork, so that it's max-height can easily fit in most van garages * small fat wheels * 2 seater (collapsible backpack trunk) * collapsible foot-rests * small shopping basket on the front * relatively lightweight (~40-50kg) - so that can be easily lifted or put into van-garage with an unfolding ramp. * cute looks!!! * shipped with easily installable unfolding ramp! Would be a feasible solution for scenarios where you arrive at certain locations (urban or rural), park your van/home and go explore the local village/town with narrow roads and small shops, or local forests and beaches that can't be easily accessed on small dirt paths.
