I cry everytime at the end... so many memories ;33; i love this episode, especially the singing and rainbows voice in the beginning. the writers did a wonderful job there

Who else thinks that when Angel locked Fluttershy out of the house, that Fluttershy should have started banging on the door and yelling "AAAANNNNNGEEEEELLLL!"

I think Spike probably had some of my favorite parts in this episode.

This was a pretty good episode. I wasn't sure how much I liked it when I watched it on TV for the first time, but after watching it a second time, I liked it a lot more. I think the way they handled the ending with the tree-root chandelier was really sweet. I admit, I almost got a little teary-eyed when Twilight turned around and said "It's perfect." :') Also, this episode is pretty damn funny. Some of my favorite moments include Twilight going "I'm pancake! I mean, 'awake'.", Pinkie's comment about Fluttershy echoing, and pretty much every scene with Spike. I also loved all the references to past episodes when the Mane 6 were remembering the memories they had at the Library. The moral the episode teaches is a really nice one too. Personally, though, I kinda would have liked seeing more of the episode from the perspective of Twilight dealing with losing her old home, cause I think that could have made a bit of a stronger, or at least more emotional conflict. But, for what the episode is, I still think it's really good. Not quite as awesome as the premiere, in my opinion, but still a really nice return to the show's usual formula.

This is the fourth time I've seen this episode, including the premiere. And it somehow gets more and more entertaining with each watch

I was kinda worried about some people from "Fanboy and Chum Chum" writing for this show and there are still 1 or 2 more of them that I think would need to prove themselves later this Season, but so far that's sort of starting to look like Nickelodeon's fault, cause these 2 from there have really made a Really-Good - considerably - Great Episode.

More fuel for the FlutterBulk shippers. 15:25 "Is Twilight taller?" Nope. "Or her horn longer?" Eeyup. 15:50 "Where was Spike when that happened? I forget." When the library was destroyed, he was trapped in Discord's cage with the other five. 18:47 "Or are they just going to put a lot of books in there?" That was already taken care of during Rainbow Rocks. 21:24 "The feels man... gettin' to me." Same here. This is the fourth time I've seen this now and it still gets to me. I agree with you wholeheartedly. Fantastic episode, 10/10.

This episode gave me liquid nostalgia in the eyes. I still miss the golden oak library but I'm ok with the new home now. I still want to see the other rooms like the kitchen, bedroom and library. Also I hope for random confetti shots from the hidden cannons during the season.

I really enjoyed this episode, a very good first episode by these two new writers, I look forward to seeing what else they come up with

I love how Spike was reaching so much to distract Twilight although I think he was being sincere when talking about the tree. And I love Pinkie's confetti cannons. Also Bulk Biceps talked! That was so hype. I think this season might be the best one with constantly good and great episodes. Also how long do you think it has been since the season 4 finale and Rainbow Rocks. Also why did Bon-Bon need a new bed I wonder "Wink Wink".Why does everyone hate the castle it's not that bad I get hating rainbow power because most of the designs are terrible except for Rainbow Dash's in my opinion. And does no one get the joke in the song we just need to add some sparkle and it's Twilight Sparkle's castle. Also Angel bunny haters will like this episode. Also I think only a week at most had passed between Rainbow Rocks and season 5 which is why she is so overwhelmed.

The scene with the Golden Oak's roots has way too much room to turn into something nightmarish. I mean, for all intents and purposes they're brown tentacles reaching from the ceiling with Twilight's memories hanging from them.

i think in the S4 finale...spike was with the other girls in the cage and bubbles when the castle was blown up

next week is the 3rd in the nightmare cmc series. i can't wait for that one. this weeks was so cute

Man I suck at feeling emotions. I felt absolutely nothing during this episode. That said, while initially I didn't really care for it, upon this rewatch it seemed a lot better. My favorite part of it is Spike. The beginning of the song is still cringeworthy though, it's like RD missed all the notes or something.

Umm I feel so mean for making this comment but I feel a little left out. How do people not realize what is going on, I had the hole episode maped out in my head and knew what was happening before it happened, I hate how no one else does this, especially when it it is right in front of their faces.
