Brilliant potential to rp as modern Japan with this civic

Hey Lathrix. I am part of a mod team looking to create a Modification for Stellaris that turns it into a sort of story driven game, with different alien races having their own story lines that can affect how they play and interact with other factions. Think the Katzen from Giga Structural Engineering, but for your own empire and every other empire around you. Anyway, we are in a situation where we need a lot of unique alien races and I was wondering if we could use some of the ones from your various series. Things like the Greed and Honorbound would be full of oppurtunity to tell great stories in the setting we intend to create.

You got it correct, the bug with the edicts is not really a bug. If you go to wiki patch notes, balance and the first thing it says is about the edict taking account of the stockpiled unity, not the amount produced.

I think leaders should cost energy if you're a megacorp or have certain civics. Makes sense to buy them in an empire of money rather than just "ah come here for free its for the greater good"

Great playthrough so far! Actually ended up playing half-wide, half-tall my first game too. Wonder if that's old habits or a natural result of Empire Size penalties. Very interesting indeed...

I appreciate the videos being an hour max, because I always forget where I left off if they’re longer. I watch on 2x speed so this is a nice 30 minute video that I’m able to fit into one coffee.

Lathrix, an airships conquer the skies playthrough idea: a hermit kingdom playthrough where you do not expand much, if at all, and aquire most of your income from capturing and scrapping ships. A possible victory condition for this mode of playthrough would be the completion of the tech tree (with limited income) and/or the design and construction of a "masterstroke" landship or airship to sweep across the map with and kill everything. The tech may include the moon disc possibly. 'Cause it's hard.

Is it just me or does the idea of a show/series of shorts about 'The Reassigners' in a world system like this sound really, really interesting. Imagine having THAT job, having to assign the newly undead to task. Guess its only more interesting, and more terrible, if they're not just shambling husks...

Lathrix try Diplomacy Is Not An Option, it’s a city builder where you have to defend against huge waves of enemies. Basically Kingdoms and Castles with way more enemies, I think you’ll like it :)
