Gazza was really good but Gerrard is easily the best English player in history and was wasted by England, It's a travesty how Villa treated him but this is why legendary players should not stoop to help small clubs because they just can't understand how to win.

I agree. I always use the argument that if you swapped Gerrard with Scholes or Lampard, would Scholes or Lampard have been able to drag Liverpool to the European Cup? Anyone being honest has to accept that Scholes and Lampard couldn't take Gerrard's place.

Gerrard is just simply a far better player than Henderson, plain and simple.

Hearing him say 'tier 2' when saying Henderson is a Liverpool legend is insulting. Gerrard might have been a better individual footballer, but Henderson has made this team what it is, and dragged the team through these years. He's made the players around him better, and has won every trophy. Shame with what's happening now with the possible transfer, but Henderson is the dream Liverpool captain

@@andrewwright4195 klopp couldn’t make the team work from the touch line, as soon as Henderson was on the pitch, the team worked. The entire team wasn’t good last season so don’t single out one player.

Hes a young manager and is still learning, he went unbeaten in the league with Rangers which is a good achievement.

Gerrard was a massive power and influence in all areas. So much so that referees were at his beck and call, they would give decisions according to his whim and ignore most of his over the top transgressions which were plenty.

Gerrard was great captain great player and led by example..... hendo gets the maximum out of the salahs makes sure every1s at it every minite of every game...2 dif captain but massive for lfc and both legends also gerrard wants hendo with him so what does that tell u? 👍

Agreed. Gerrard was a genius, a fighter, an artist, a maestro, and not only the best English player in history, but in the Top 10 all-time global greats. I also find it insulting that Lampard is constantly mentioned in the same break as Gerrard. Like comparing a Morris Minor with a Ferrari.

I just wanted to comment regarding the previous video about Jordan Henderson - where ironically TS move like North Korea to turn the comments section off but want to throw shade towards saudi for apparently being anti gay. Which is nonsense. I live in Dubai and I’ve visited all the neighbouring countries. Qatar, Kuwait, Saudi to name a couple. I’ve definitely bumped into gay people. At the brunches/the waiters/hotel workers etc. they just don’t advertise it in their schools and all Over the gaff like we do in the uk. As their fundamental idea - which is regions, is that it’s wrong. At least Saudi keep to their regions beliefs. Unlike the uk which is supposed to be a Christian country but the devil is running the country… if only there was a phrase about people shouldn’t be throwing stones if they live in a glass house 👀

Imagine being Hendo and hearing someone who is most famous for not putting in the work and never reaching his potential while also being massively out of touch with the rest of normal society on normal wages. Also, saying Hendo was ‘never a regular for England’ is ridiculous when you consider that he’s got 77 caps, made the squad in every tournament since 2012, played in every one of those tournaments too, won England player of the year in 2019 and also has been captain a few times and has been very important for the squad on and off the pitch. Especially when you failed to ever get a cap. Pure waste of space, can’t believe you had him on.

If u take out Henderson and put Gerrard in those klopp teams then we would have won alot more...Put Henderson in those Rafa teams and we would have won nothing...
