Learning to say “I love you.”

Saying “I love you” and truly meaning it can be hard for so many reasons. Maybe it’s hard because you’re afraid to say something you don’t mean, or maybe it’s hard because to say those words is to make yourself more vulnerable than you’re willing to be. Either way, getting our hearts and our words to align is no small task, but we think doing just that is a big part of what it means to be pure in heart - one of the character traits Jesus calls blessed. It’s not easy, but we think it’s worth it, and Arno’s story is a testament to that. Jesus’ love is like a second language. It takes practice.

It is hard when someone takes their own life. Even when you know it was not your fault you can't stop feeling you could have done something. The more you loved someone the harder it is.

Yeah, I know that my sister was aware that I loved her. I do wish that I would have told her that more before she died unexpectedly.

My 21 year old daughter died from depression by suicide on 1/20/15 - and she left a note that said - "Daddy, I'm sorry. I love you." I'm still healing and recovering with God's help from such a profound loss.

Im sorry. Ive nrver gone I through losing domeone the way arno did, but i just want to hug him and tell him that it wasnt his fault..that he couldnt have possibly known or thet his brother had made up his mind long before the last time he saw him. Arno, im sorry i really have no idea ehat its like to go through that, but it breaks my heart that you say it stopped you from telling people you love them for a while. Because you really cant run out of love.. snd we need a lot more if it in the world. I hope youre doing better, my friend 😇
