No the colour wont be Red, NO, they arent changing the name, No we wont be called Red Bull Leeds. Please listen to the full piece before commenting as everything is covered. It's a situation leeds fans should and will keep an eye on. We all know their history. So should keep an eye on it. Could be hard to do by the time a regulator comes in.

The RedBull partnership is absolutely massive and all Leeds fan should be rubbing their hands together. Also to hear that the 49ers have taken steps to make sure Leeds Untied hold all the cards in any deal shows that all partners and owners have our best interests at heart.

100%! I really like Jadon. If we sell Gnonto and Summerville I’d be looking to get him back in and give him the minutes he deserves. He works hard, he tracks back and defends, he’s got a great free kick delivery, can finish very well (Plymouth game comes to mind), and is very good at taking people on! If he finds himself on the bench at Bournemouth, and Leeds lose Gnonto and Summerville, to me this feels like a solid chance to do loan-to-buy!

I remember when Man City moved and changed the stadium name from Maine Road. City fans said they would never set foot in the stadium, and some handed back their season tickets. It didn't last long and especially when the sponsor money started to show in the teams performance. Like most contentious issues, it will soon be forgotten.

Happy with the investment and sponsorship from one of the biggest sporting brands in the world, huge for a champo team. Glad 49ers keeping them out of the board room and confident legislation protects us from a name change down the road. Wonder if joe switches away from red thunder on streams 🤣. Absolutely brilliant news Red bull becoming.our Main Shirt sponsor & now a small minority owner of Leeds. Everything they touch is a huge money earner, they are the masters of advertisement & marketing which will be massive for us due to money it will bring in. Biggest Championship sponsorship deal ever , drowning out alot of the premier League sponsorship deals as well. Also will help with bringing players from any Red bull owned club's. They have obviously bought in as they want the advertisement from in time been part of a premier League club.

I think an important detail is that Leipzig & Salzburg were founded by Dietrich Mateschitz but this is the first meaningful sport investment since he is gone. I would like to believe his son would be more loose with the branding & more in touch with football fans.

Hello 👋 Ger good news 🗞️ about Red Bull 🐂. Macdonald's next to Elland Road 🛣️🏟️ hasn't got red in it's logo as far as I know this is the only Macdonald's to not have any Red in it. Red Bull 🐂 won't change the name of Elland Road. The bit that everyone keeps missing was brought up by Phil Hay. It may be a minority stake now but it can easily ( and lets be honest probably will become a majority stake later on) and Redbull ALWAYS strip away the clubs identity. I wont be supporting Redbull Leeds in 5 years time when the 49ers want to flip the club and i dont want to go to Redbull stadium either. I think most of the Leeds podcasters have taken the wrong tone with this news. People should be concerned

I'm nit saying we shouldn't be wary. We should, absolutely. There are restrictions in the UK to stop some of what they do. But to you point time will tell. As its currently worded, its a good deal, but they aren't taking a minority stake to stay there. I do share some concerns. But the other big money to compete at top level is Saudi oil money. And that has its own moral and reputational concerns. They will be watched at Leeds more than elsewhere, they won't get away with it. We've removed owners before.

You only have to look at what Redbull have done to all the sporting organisations they are involved with. Its all about pushing their brand, they dont care about leeds united. This is just a foot in the door, not good at all. They wont stop at a minority stake.
