I love that Bojack Horseman has space for a character like PB. It can tackle such dark topics like sexual assault and depression, but leave room for PB simple-minded lighthearted nature without dismissing his character and worldview. They delve into his "silly" antics and his problems just as much the other characters, even if they seem "surface-level", and showcase how it is both a strength and a weakness to live that way, instead of making him the dumb joke just because he doesn't think as "deeply" as other characters. Him confronting Bojack about kissing Diane is such an amazing moment.

That's not bonding with people, that's not being supportive and most importantly, that's not being a true friend because at the end of the day everything is about you that's why people like that don't really give a fuck about other peoples problems because it will affect their insistence on mental isolation just to maintain their illusion (or any sort of permanence) of happiness. You really dont' see anything wrong with disregarding/discharging the reality of the rest? do you really believe yourself THAT important? remember that we need the existence of others in more meaningful and deeper ways than we realize sometimes, that's just how we humans work in a healthy manner.

@abhay41473 ай бұрын
@@dannybrezelhorner2715 Well, since he's a horse he is shown to be be scared easily by mundane things, for example Bojack once said that he got scared by a plastic bag in his garage. Horses also go batshit crazy when they are scared, and so does Bojack, if you remember how he ran like a maniac when PC said she would like to have a kid with him. The ones mentioned above are species traits. If you go by atttibutes, then like you said, it takes a lot of alcohol to get him drunk, as with drugs (might have been the reason why Sarah Lynn overdosed since the difference between their capacities is massive.) There is also his strength, since horses are strong creatures, and Bojack was able to drag the D from Hollywood to his house. There is another emotional similarity that is plausible. Horses are highly social beings, and it is highly unusual for a horse to be alone. Explains Bojack's loneliness especially when you consider the void created in him since his parents did not bond with him in his childhood.
@abhay41473 ай бұрын
