The yellow stubby with the cutout x across the top where you adjust the stream was the best design. In the end its the orifice & filter to produce the foam is key!

We want FOAM! Design is secondary. That is why I didn’t like the first one and it was a rebrand mostly. I myself never needed more than a liter, but have had viewers say they wanted more capacity. You could compromise at 1200 ml. The bottle will be one of those you either love it or hate it design wise. My biggest concern is with the bottle being very long and not tall as the measurement markings are so close together. I prefer a plastic cap as the metal can get hot and cold with the seasons, water temp and weather. Clear bottle as long as it is durable for chemicals and won’t crack when dropped. I like the idea of balance empty or full and while the gun is attached. Click and lock top is a good move. Save the money on the metal top and use for quality stainless for the manifold with electroplating for more corrosion resistance. Nozzle design doesn’t matter much to me just the ability to do horizontal and vertical while having good tension to not come out of adjustment. Don’t forget the water adjustment knob on top needs to be comfortable.

I like and agree with almost all of these comments. I would like to add my 2 cents worth.... Sell extra bottles, AND sell blank off caps to close the bottles when not in use. If I have left over solution, I might want to store it, in the bottle, after removing the "cannon" and running clear water though it, to rinse it out. Spare bottles would allow different solutions to be pre-mixed, and waiting for the next wash. just need to be able to cap them off. Right now, I stretch a latex glove over the opening, of my current foam cannon.

If you are going to make a bottle design from scratch, new mold, that is great. Remember to make it functional, functional from storage, to filling with soap solution. Some concentrations are only 100 - 200 ml. With a extra wide bottom, how would the user know when they have poured 100-200 ml. With a new bottle design, you could have a special reservoir (well) that is set up for 100, 150 and 200 ml, levels. Also think of weight of a filled bottle and how that feels for one handed use.

Most important would to ensure the foam doesn't dry too quickly on the surface...this is difficult to explain but you want a wet foam that will assist with allowing dwell time for the foam to move as much dirt and grime on the surface and not dry up and leave spots...the MTM does a great job at this even though it isn't the flashiest anymore with others making that crazy foam that isn't effective since it's usually dry so this is where you can really be set apart to do the most effective cleaning

I would like to see the plastic materials be made from an easily recyclable plastic with clear plastic type markings on it. This is your clean-sheet opportunity to design something that won’t exist in our environment for thousands of years beyond its lifecycle.

A lot of good ideas in reading through the comments here. I'd also like to add that you need to make sure there is either a weighted ball at the end of a flexible straw so that the straw can move around to always stay in the liquid; and, if you want to get really clever, making it so that the interior of the bottle slopes to a point (while keeping the outside flat so that it can be set down) so that it's easier to get all the liquid up since it will pool in one spot. This isn't a common design element, but I have come across it on occasion on things like hand soaps and the like. It's a really nice feature as it allows you to more easily get up all the solution. Beyond that, it's things like others have mentioned. A plastic-on-plastic cap/bottle connection. Twist and lock would be nice, but just a simple twist on would be fine as well. Clear bottle markings (so many of the bottles out there are hard to read due to being not only small print, but the same clear/opaque color as the bottle, well balanced so that it's comfortable to use, a wide opening for adding liquids, and user replaceable/easy to change mesh filters and orifice size nozzles. While I haven't been able to justify getting your short gun yet (as my MTM is still working perfectly), I'm more likely to try out a new foam cannon as long as it's not priced outrageously. I'm currently alternating between a MJJC Foam Cannon Pro V2 and a MATCC Foam Cannon III, but I wouldn't mind adding another one to the stable.

I have the active 2.0 and use a 3rd party hand spray gun. I currently use a budget friendly Sunjoe foam cannon with the stock orifice and it foams quite well with the 2.0 but is annoying because it’s tall, thin and top heavy and will fall over. Your triangular shape bottle might be a hassle screwing on the top. Round with a wide base is a proven design. I find 1000 ml size to be perfect for my needs . ML measuring marks is necessary . Rotating spray pattern would be nice but for me it’s not a critical need. Big mouth opening is paramount! Affordable pricing is a concern and needs to be low end competitive keeping in mind that MJJC has the market for high end sprayers. Most important is thick heavy foam! Paul

Maybe the trick will be to offer the ability to buy more bottles with lids like a Nalgene lid so that used product can be stored and that you have several different mixes to swap in and out of..

1. More foam - Operate MJJC Pro 2/3 top part and look what they been doing there to produce more foam with any brand of foam soap. 2. Clear transparent bottle - Ability to see thru clearly what chemical solution in there base on actual color (I’m talking about MJJC Pro 2, not Pro 3 that has taller bottle and not stable). 3. Big neck - Also look for MJJC Pro 2 benefit for easy fill and no spillage when turn upside down. Conclusion is…me or like any other detailer enthusiast, we commonly prefer MJJC Pro 2 foam cannon product better than any others competitor. The only lack is that not have an transparent bottle (again, i’m talking about MJJC Pro 2, not Pro 3 that has taller bottle and not stable). Thats all.

1 liter bottle is fine. Wide mouth and good foam and I’m happy! The stubby yellow or gray nozzle would be a nice bonus!!!! 😂

If you’re looking for inspiration, look at the bigboi/pyramid foam cannon for a head and the gloss empire bottle.

I suggest flaring out the base for more stability. Clear bottle would be nice as well.

Hey guys video starts off talking about the packaging, news no one cares about small packaging so you can save on your end! Just want a great product that works and doesn't tip over, great design by the way brilliant.

Balance is important. If the foam bottle feels at one with the gun, then maneuvering becomes easier, without risk of bumping it into your cleaning surface. The ability to place the foam bottle and gun down with out having it tip over…also a key benefit.

Can you rest the gun and cannon on the ground when In use? So called under load. This will be a unique design if it can also acheive that. Posted also my thoughts on your Instagram about the design and colors👍

I don’t see a big advantage, as a consumer to have a larger capacity bottle, I typically have leftover when doing one vehicle. Also what is the weight distribution like with that shape bottle. Maybe include two bottle sizes, standard and large??? Or even two of the same size with a quick disconnect. I currently have one sprayer for soap and one for tire wash. That way I could reduce equipment. Seems like that is the first part to fail most times. Good luck, it’s great seeing you working on new ideas!

Make it simple design as bigboi clear big botle . It more outstanding with some yellow stuff in there .

Could the storage option be on the bottle and could there be different bottles?

I think the larger capacity bottle could be helpful.

The problem with that design is the weight and moment of the bottle will be more to the front of the nozzle and not balanced. Having a big neck is nice but please do not use threads to connect the bottle to the gun portion. Need to use some type of twist and lock connection.

I would love to have a larger bottle so i have enough soap for two washes instead of refilling it every time

How about a weighted pick up tube that will resist a wide range of pH?

I bought the gun and love it, I don’t like this bottle…rather have a triangular bottle with extra capacity. Has to produce more foam than mtm

who uses so much product. do people store it in the bottle? When I was one or two cars I almost always have too much product in the bottle and have to wash it out.

Dont use tht bottle design! Pls its not practical for the straw to suck up all the soap unless u tilt the gun up or down to get all the soap, keep a cylinder style bottle nd keep the size as compact as possible i think you guys should aim for the bottle design as the griots brilliant finish foam cannon or the mtm v2 bottle with a wider fill opening also i think you guys should make the bottle clear with black or yellow measuring numbers! And if you guys want to blow out competition take the quarter turn cap from the mjjc v3 idea and figure out how to prevent the foam cannon from leaking with held upside down now tht wud be worth the $75 0-$85 price tag
