I am not a theory-crafting master, and I may miss the mark on concepts. This series isn't meant to focus on "meta." It is just a fun concept-making series which hopefully opens the floor for discussions. If you have critiques or alternate ideas, feel free to comment. Just be respectful.
===Personal Weapon Concept Rules===
1) Characters’ signature weapons match their rarity. Judge value of 4* based on R5, and 5* based on R1.
2) An R5 4* can be BiS for 4* character, but it should not outperform any 5* R1 signature on that specific 5*.
3) Artifact Substats and Enemy DEF/RES are not included in calculations.
4) Weapon should be able to synergize with C0 of that character, but constellations can be considered when making the concept.
5) Weapon substat should be consistent with existing weapons. Weapon passives do not have to be universally accessible or realistic.
6) For calculations, assume character/weapon level is 90, talents are 8, artifacts are maxed out, and constellations are 0, unless stated otherwise.

I love mikas weapon concept, it dosent seem broken yet creates a new playstyle for its intended character

Best part is that is doesn’t even change the actual playstyle, just the artifact builds! You still do your normal rotations, but now, you get extra damage on top of it :D

I feel like hoyo is saving physical for Khaenri'ah, since it's all about not being under any god, the physical element could blend cinely with abyss or whatever else they might want to add at that point

Awesome video man, honestly not a single idea I would disagree with. For a second I was thinking that the Xinyan weapon was maybe too good on other characters, but as long as it doesn't invalidate their sigs, that is well worth it to make a weapon that solves Xinyan's paper shield. Your ideas for both Razor and Mika were great, I would have never thought of the Mika one honestly. The main competition is does that dmg outpace Fav lowering ER reqs on your other characters, but thats just adjusting numbers not changing anything fundamental. I am curious, was it my comment that triggered the change in the balance guidelines or did you already have that change in mind. Either way I'm exited to see where this series goes in the future, if you continue to improve at this rate you might become the most underrated content creator in the genshin space.

Lmao, yes, it was your comment that made me reconsider the rules! I figured that as long as the 5* signatures were still the BiS on that specific 5* character, it wouldn’t be an issue if a 4* weapon was better on a 4* character. Going forward, I’m predicting that the more niche a character’s kit is, the more niche I can make the weapon, which gives me the freedom to bump up the stats and make it a BiS. It’s actually caused me to go back and redo some of the passives. I’m looking at character kits, making the passive more niche, and this actually ends up making the passive more interesting. As always, I appreciate the support and feedback!

does ocean hued clam scale with physical damage bonus? you could maybe run mika with his weapon and with OHC for double shockwaves

OHC works kind of like reaction DMG. It won’t get increased with DMG Bonuses, but it can get affected by the enemy’s RES. In other words, Mika’s weapon won’t boost OHC DMG
