Which other scenes

In the book the siblings deliberately hide the purple mallet and ball and Kate chooses the black , the Mallet of Death , and the siblings decide Edwina should get the blue ( all this happens when Anthony has left the group to go collect Edwina from the house ) so all that is left is the pink mallet & ball for Anthony. He usually snaffles the black and this becomes a point of competition later when they are married between Kate & Anthony in fun ( as the are so competitive that in each game the object is to not let the other win by any means ( which leads to much of the books humour). All the humour which I felt was completely missing from the series. The changed storyline completely changes the book plot as to be unrecognisable. All that is the same is the title and the names of the main characters. Julia Quinn must be so sad to see her best-seller' s plot completely trashed yet she will just have to keep a smile on her face over it all. Al. The very best scence in the book are either not there is so watered down and changed that the actual context for our understanding mof the characters, and the plot were completely gone. I was so,looking forward to this Series but am highly frustrated and very disappointed and don't know if I even want to watch it again. Hope they don't ruin Series 3 like this. I think I would rather go re read The Viscount Who Loved Me again for the 4th time rather than rewatch Series 2. . The actors were not at fault they just did the best they possibly could with a terrible script and storyline. It was more like a story plot for The Bold and The Beautiful or Days of our Lives. Arghhhh.

Plus, her stories have some annoying anti-feminist tones especially in terms of eloise and Kate and Edwina, these three characters so much better here on the series. Just because you don't like it doesn't mean others don't appreciate it especially the author who got paid a sh*t ton of money for the rights of her stories.

i think the actors were asked in an interview if they have plans to return in future seasons and they said that they do and that they at least will like to be present at every bridgerton wedding so hopefully we will have cute kate and anthony moments in future seasons

I mean considering that Anthony is the head of the Bridgerton family and his new wife is the new Vicountess, they mentioned that part of her duties as the new Vicountess is to take care of things related to his siblings, meaning she is probably now in charge of helping with their education and preparing them for their own marriages. Obviously she will be helping his sisters during their seasons out and with all the preparations and balls and all that stuff and I'm guessing she will also be a good person to give advice to his younger brothers when they are in need of it during their own love stories. I feel she could really help Eloise most of all since she seems to understand her and Eloise seems to have taken a liking to her and sees her as a different type of woman than her sister Daphne and she seems to feel like she relates more to the type of woman Kate is than her sister. So I think it's only natural to see the Vicount and Vicountess in the upcoming seasons since they are basically the heads of the Bridgerton family.

😂😂😂Simón probably knows Anthony better than his own brothers do and he would've noticed even faster than Daphne what Anthony's true feelings were, that's if he didn't notice it right away lol and I can imagine him giving Anthony advice since he also refused to marry and love and children at first until he finally fell for Daphne and married her and ended up having children. I could also see him and Daphne playing a more active role in trying to fix the situation and maybe even intervening with his plans and setting him up so he could end up with who he loved and we could've avoided the scandalous affair that was his proposal to the wrong sister only for the wedding to be called off on the very wedding day.

@@jjh2456 exactly so I guess in a way the duke being missing helped the story, specially with all the changes the made in the new season. The book version of the story did include Simon but it already played out very differently.

I think the writers are trying to shorten the books. There are 7 books and Elouise doesn't find out about Penelope's secret until the 3rd or 4th book. There is also a lot of EXTRA drama added that wasn't part of the original story.
