That is a good looking map. Kudos to BulletBill for an excellent job as ever. Yes, sell the bailer straight away, you should get the full purchase price back if you don't hang around if my experience is anything to go by. Sewing, check the Seasons info panel. You can sew when the temperature's too low, they just won't germinate til it rises, BUT you shouldn't sew outside the green marked bars for each crop as you run the risk of losing the whole field to die off.

Why is everyone hating on dagger, he is completely correct on not selling all the tractors at the start as it would be worthless for a real farm and this is the realistic series, also, he didn't want to transfer all the money from dusty cove because it was roughly 300,000 and he said in the comments he wanted something to work towards, if u guys are hating on the videos then why are you watching them, sorry for complaining but im vexed rn

Just a note, you can in fact seed a field with a crop even while it is below the minimum temperature. The min temperature is actually the GERMINATION temperature, so as long as the ground is not frozen, you can still seed, it just won't begin growing until it reaches that minimum temperature, and beyond that the crop will grow as normal even if the temperature drops below. Will save you a lot of precious time and gives you space during harvest. But really use that time in spring to plow and fertilize (I recommend manure mod to get extra fertilizer states), as there's no actual rush to get seeded if the ground temperature is well below and forecast looks unfavorable. Best of luck!

Daggerwin. Spring is so nice, but no rush to do the seeding without a seed plan. If you want to know the answers to these three questions: 1. How many hectares of each crop do I need to seed/plant in order to feed my animals? 2. Based on the field sizes, what crop should be seeded in which field? 3. How much surplus from my harvest can I sell and still have enough left for my animals? Then you need to plan ahead. Please try out my new spreadsheet (link below). Data for crop yield and animal needs were collected from Dusty Cove and Snettertons farm (both with Seasons 1.1). As the Seasons mod defines most of the base numbers, I expect a good estimate will also be provided for this map. To use the spreadsheet, simply enter the number of cows, pigs and sheep you intend to have. Dagger, you say you get the "ploughing bonus" by ploughing once every 3 years. Does that mean you get the extra productivity between times too, (one level for each crop between ploughings) or only once for the crop planted directly after you plough?

you can plant during the "green" period regardless of temperature (as long as the ground's not frozen) it's just that germination won't happen until the soil temperature reaches 5C

I guess you can ignore my comment on the last video. Workers look like they are doing great! If you replace the baler with a square one, don't forget the square wrapper. Instant silage is handy money and will give you something to spread on your fields as well.

I recently started on this map with Seasons aswell, but when I was gonna start planting seeds with the Väderstad I noticed my heavy duty Fendt wasn't up for the task (I'm using the realistic game mods). I had to sell off that one and one of the smaller ones and buy a 350HP Massey Ferguson. Threw me off my schedule that did :P

Please change the valtra for the same fortis 190 as you haven´t really used that tractor, and its my favourit one, and it´s more powerfull to. By the way you are the best farming-sim youtuber i think! I love your vidds!

direct seeding does mean you can sow into the plowed field and won´t have to cultivate it first you only use it on stubble if you put a cover crop in like oilseed radish in fs

just to say you may have know this but the ground tempeture doesn't have to be at that tempeture to plant the crop but when it gets to that tempture it will germinate

Its normal to direct drill stubble that's what its made for,the vardy can do stubble but its not wise too

The Aberdeenshire map is like that for roads and subtle signs

Daggerwin I don't know if anyone pointed it out but when you was seeding you did the headlands first and you would do that in real life as you would destroy the crop that you just planted anyway great video anyway.

You should either bring in some money or manually add some fields because doing a lets play, you don't play the hours to build up enough money/progression by the time you get to episode 40/50. It's just 40 episodes of your building and struggling. It'll give you time to appreciate the map too if you own more fields.

Dont forget to plant corn for the pigs base food.

when i played euro truck sim 2 and i went to england and then everything went crash.... i forgot that the english people do things differently and drive on the wrong side of the road:) so welp that was a very unprofitble venture lol... Side notes: I know i know there is no wrong side but... in my mind i ascpect people to drive on the right side of the road and not on the left lol...:) Have a nice day farming peeps and other peeps:)

Tractors don't need to have gps installed to use it. On my farm we have a gps that we bought separate from the tractors that can be put on any tractor even really old ones.

I wish the train on this map would come to console as it's a really cool feature. One of the only maps where the ai goes over and waits for the train to pass. Oh well there's always fs19

map seams to be brilliant however i can notice that roads have few poor connections in level.... while reads are elevating there are few bad joints which could get smoothed .... 12:53 14:11 14:18 and few others.....
