Hollywood Blonds (Austin/Pillman incarnation) were a Hell of a tag team. Pillman's ankle was totally shattered in that wreck, and a week in a coma. A truly gruesome injury, and he kept wrestling on it. Must have been on an insane amount of painkillers towards the end.

He needs a bit of work with his worked shoots, but he's definitely trying here. When he talks about himself as Lexis King, he doesn't talk about the character like he's a, well, character. He talks about Lexis King like it's just him, this is who he is and he's just being himself. It's not a perfect worked shoot, obviously, but so far, given the amount of time he's been floundering in the Indies and AEW and the short time he's spent in WWE's developmental system, I'm quite impressed. A lot of guys with more experience would have just done a full on shoot and ruined their character for anyone who actually likes pro wrestling for what it's supposed to be. But Brian/Lexis does a good job here. He tells you a bit of the truth, and then before you know it, you're almost questioning whether you're being worked or not. He's not quite there yet, but so far, so good. But I don't know how people live in Florida. Visiting in the winter? Sure. But I'm not a lizard. I think that's where those reptilian shapeshifters those conspiracy nuts talk about must be from. 🤣
