I am not and never have been an official librarian, but I worked at a library (as paid staff, not as a volunteer) for over twenty years, and let me tell you--those librarians in Reference (or Info Services, to use the newer term) really kick some serious...well, let's just say one shouldn't be deceived by their mild appearance and quiet demeanor. 😉

I agree, but it's better to wait for the heaps of evidence to be thoroughly gathered and investigated. He cannot be processed for the same crime twice. That is a constitutional right. They need time to solidify guilt beyond a shadow of a doubt so that when sentencing comes due, the judge will have no option but to dole out justice.

As a former archivist, I of course just have to correct the assumption that librarians took him down.... It is most likely the records administrators and archivists who figured it out. I don't blame you for not knowing. We're often behind closed doors or in basements doing our jobs, it's rare for anyone to know we actually exist. 😂 Librarians are awesome too.
