After our catamaran sailboat was damaged in a storm we found an amazing safe place to pull in and wait out the weather!
Jekyll island marina was amazing! Pool, Hot Tub, complimentary bikes and golf carts this place has it all! The island had beautiful bike paths to get exercise and with the golf cart we could make it to the spectacular drift wood park!

Those sand dollars are indeed alive. Did they secrete a yellow substance on you? They'll do that. They need to be in the wet sand/water to not suffocate which can happen in minutes.

@@SaltyEscape I saw that! Star fish are the same....they'll suffocate quickly and I know you'll be seeing those in person soon in the Bahamas, right?
