I am a dancer who has always struggled with extensions. I always feel “pinch” and “clicking” sensations in my hip flexor when I lift my leg. Do you have any recommendations or tips that would help?

Look forward to this series, as I always have low back pain when I take ballet class and was told that I wasn’t using the small muscles in the spine.

I think you are right and I have located the low back muscles that I have not been using enough. They are weak. But it is difficult to start using a new muscle and avoid using one that you automatically used previously. So do you have a suggestion for engaging those low back muscles?

So do you cover back stabilizing exercises in your program? My daughter has been seeing a phyisical therapist for lower back pain. It comes down through tight hips and thighs. She also struggles with extensions and im trying to remember what she says she feels...i think its clicking
