This episode of Listen to Black Men dives into a topic that many Black men struggle to discuss amongst themselves: mental health and therapy. Mouse Jones joins Jeremie Rivers, Tyler Chronicles, and special guests Arron Muller and Jessie Woo to talk about the role mental health plays in the Black community, how men interact with the idea, and how therapy has helped to illuminate difficult subjects.

I love these just need them to be longer. I can tell the conversations get deeper. That being said they're a great conversation starter for people to use in their own lives. Men holding one another accountable is sorely lacking and its detrimental to everyone in our community. Women also need to hold one another accountable and in both instances tone and delivery make all the difference. The myth about you're a Simp if you treat your lady well needs to be eradicated. Speaks volumes to the toxicity that was prevalent in the home amongst family and peers. Healthy relationships are a form of wealth we need to focus on passing down in families and as a community.

I think we know the dudes that hate women say and spread that message of women showing women love as simps. So we don't take them serious. That's like anything...the 🤡 loser cheater f boys call a woman weak for not staying in an abusive cheating relationship...but it's really the opposite. You're weak if you keep staying with a dude who constantly does you wrong and you won't leave. So it just is what it is ma.
