@jhon doe It's a legitimate allegation of a crime -with - evidence, which (for cops) is what matters and what their job is. Cops don't rule on guilt, they gather evidence and detain suspects.

It's very important distinction. Just like how cops dont need to protect you. Protecting you is a by product of enforcing the law. So dont expect cops to jump in and take a bullet for you.

@@GAMINGINMYCAR A sovereign citizens is a type of libertarian who does not recognize the federal government and attempts to use word games to avoid being held accountable for crimes. For example they will attempt to say they were "traveling" rather than driving to avoid traffic tickets, even when they are clearly driving. They started in the 70's with the Posse Comitatus movement, an extreme right wing anti tax movement. The most famous sovereign citizen in recent history was probably Fox News darling Cliven Bundy who successfully used militia tactics to stave off federal agents retaking public land that Cliven did not own and was using for raising cattle. Sometimes these people do successfully use the law to their advantage but the overwhelming majority of them are insanely stupid and wind up with layers of egg on their faces.
