The best witness so far for the Commonwealth is a drunk person who didn't even give a statement til nine months after she supposedly saw a black blob. The real crime is that this even got to court.

I genuinely hope that we can all agree that it is far worse for an innocent person to go to prison than a guilty person go free…..

So, all of these policemen and their families are driving while intoxicated, during a dangerous snowstorm . Wow!

The case screams reasonable doubt at this point. This police department should be ashamed of themselves

The Albert clan wouldn’t agree that the sky is blue if asked by the defense (“I don’t remember looking upwards”, “I only remember seeing clouds”, “could be blue, I don’t really know”). Their credibility is shot to hell and they make themselves VERY UNLIKEABLE!

This family acts so guilty. Cocky, uncooperative, vague, scheming, can’t remember. So blatantly obstructive!!!

This case is a dumpster fire here in MA. The Commonwealth is in cahoots with the two police families in question. We are in week 3, and there has been zero evidence pointing to Karen Read. But, we have seen a whole lot of inconsistencies, I can't remembers, I don't recall statements by THE sketchiest family members ever, combined with a corrupted State Trooper. Evidence was recovered in red solo cups and put in a Stop and Shop grocery bag. Officer John O'Keefe deserves better and deserves justice. FREE KAREN READ!!!!

The judge’s abrupt stops for lunch and end of the day have seemed to land in favor of the prosecution nearly every time. But then, most of her decisions strongly favor the prosecution as well.

I about died when he said, "Of course, Your Honor."😅😅😅

*She remembers everything about the black blob… but doesn’t remember anything about beer, where it was, if she brought any or went out for some…. “Because it was two years ago” and hard to remember anything from back then…smh people always find a way to put their feet in their mouth*

If Mr. Albert sleeps with the phone IN his bed, because he has five kids & emergencies happen, WHY would he not answer the phone when a call comes through at 2 AM??? The early hour would have me grabbing the phone in a panic!

An adage I believe in is "If you have nothing to hide, why try to hide it?" All of these Alberts and Co. are being such weasels.

I am having a hard time reconciling the last witness stating she saw a 6 foot blob laying on the ground, claiming to put 2 and 2 together the next day, and not saying a word to investigators until right now. Even when the Albert family was getting the accusations and threats from others and she still didnt come forward.

The dog was barking because there were strangers in the house, but the dog was silent when they were screaming in the front yard and multiple sirens and flashing lights. Not believable

Peter pay attention to the times they answer absolutely not. They all answer that to the same questions every time feels very coached to me.

"she didn't want to get snowed in" is the reason he went to pick her up, but the reason she went there in the first place is that he was going to be out plowing and she didn't want to be snowed in at their apartment alone. it doesn't make sense for him to be driving back and forth.

this is the most dysfunctional trial i've ever watched. just flabbergasted!

Julie Nagel never explained what she saw as a 5 or 6 ft. "blob" until today. She is not telling the truth.

These people are shady AF.

These witnesses seem incredibly shady. I have not determined which side I’m on, but it is impossible to ignore the contradictions, the lies, the inability to recall almost every detail of their life when it comes to these connections, and that huge amount of reasonable doubt it creates.

To this moment, I *STILL* don't understand why Read is on trial. I've watched live or replay and still don't see "beyond doubt" here.

Remember, these cops stopped all investigation by anyone, thus reason why house was not searched, and witness not investigated!

If there was dead person in my garden and I had nothing to do with it I would give the police my phone straight away and insist they search my home. You don’t hide anything when you’re not lying - and I would want to prove my innocence with everything I had. The Albert’s did the exact opposite!

Ryan Nagel receives a text from his sister asking him for a ride home. He arrives to pick up his little sister, only to learn she actually doesn’t want to go home. Therefore, she’s already proven to be unreliable or wishy washy at best.

Sarah Levinson has been visited at her place of employment by an Albert, fellow employees of hers have stated she has been having a hard time and having anxiety attacks etc. That is suspicious me! Why would an Albert be showing up at her employer and her be having anxiety attacks about it?

These people were so confident they could call in favors that they thought they could get away with this!

Imagine kr losing her boyfriend and the kids but also not being able to go to her funeral as she is the suspect! Thats horrible!

No matter what was the truth, it is unacceptable and a shame the type of investigation that was done, it is not conductive to justice

People not from Boston do not understand how tight knit it is. It is very common for people to stick together in this area. Anyone from the Northshore or Southshore of Boston know this. Most of these witnesses don't need to know what happened that night to be involved in this cover up. Turning a blind eye is all that is required or a fuzzy memory. At the end of this, Karen Reed will be found NOT GUILTY and the ALBERTS WILL NOT BE PROSECUTED. The only tragedy here is John O'keefe not getting the justice he deserves.

John 6'2" 220lbs wouldn't he have done more damage to back of the suv than break the taillight and his head higher than the taillight with head trauma no body injuries.

The headlights of every car that backed out of the driveway to go in the direction past the house would have shined across the ENTIRE lawn as the car went from an angle to straighten out. Not one person saw in the bright lights a large body, excessive blood lost, a shoe, hat or 47 red pieces of taillights??

This case is the worse case I have ever viewed on YT. Can’t believe it’s gone to trial at this point. No wonder KR has so much support. The prosecution hasn’t even presented a decent case in opening. 11 days in and I have seen no case. Thank god KR has managed to hire lawyers and I am assuming pay for them.

The defence announced in public in Oct 22 that nobody had seen Johns body on the lawn. End of Oct proctor interviews nagal for the first time and ….she sees a black blob on the lawn .

Another theory these kids would cooperate in a cover is when the whole family have police ties in a small town. They would be screwed and not want to be on the bad side of that clan

I just can’t believe the last girls testimony about the “blob” because WHO wouldn’t say something the next day when they find out a literal dead body was found IN THE SAME YARD they saw the “blob” just a few hours before?!?! It makes ZERO sense!!! And then to not even question her, someone who left the house last, for 8 months?! Multiple times a day my mind gets blown by this trial! John deserved better no matter who is guilty. He was treated like garbage and was actually a FELLOW OFFICER!!!

Tristan was interviewed for the FIRST time one week ago!! 😬. Funny how Julie’s testimony has evolved! Wait until Julie Nagle’s brother Ryan testifies and says that Officer O’Keefe was not in Karen’s car and he was not on the lawn!

This case is insane. The Albert family are lying. It has come up that John was attacked inside this house, he was beaten up, probably fell and his hit head on the basement floor. The Alsatian but his arm and then they carried John out and put him at the side of the road. “ Upgrading their phones” really. They wanted to have their data deleted from their phones. The house wasn’t searched? The one shoe belonging to John was never found? Then the tiles in the basement were taken up and replaced _ I guess to get rid of all the b,old from his head wound. Then the house being sold and the dog disappearing? wtf. Police cover up. People who are hit by a vehicle always have I Injuries to the lower part of their bodies or hips. I have picked up many pedestrians who have been hit by a vehicle. John only had injuries to his face, head and arm. IF she had hit him with her vehicle, her right back light was allegedly broken then he would have been thrown into the road, not to the opposite side.

The Defense point is that Caitlin had planned to spend the night. But once the murder took place the cover up had to be put in place. And then Caitlin needed to go home prior to discovery. Parents tried to say she left at 12:15 but the 2am time came out.....the two young girls could not go with the brother of one because the cover up had to be planned. Then Jenn took them home. There was a leak of info and it may have been from one of the three other girls. The details were given to Defense.

I’m sorry, but Tristan could very well be a suspect too and at this point his defensive attitude made me side eye him. I’m on the side that Karen Read didn’t do anything, but anything could have happened, even excluding the Alberts.

Ambulances have loud engines. Even with no sirens, there is still noise from the engines, the voices, the radios, etc.

Tristan was just a hostile witness right from the start. He comes off looking like a complete idiot, a guilty of something idiot. And for him to say his girlfriend is high maintenance in public court is crazy. I think he’s pissed about the whole situation, the night it happened and the fact that he has to testify. He’s pissed.

The ‘of course’ was mentioned to try and push him off his stride. Telling someone not to use words they often use is the best way to interrupt thought patterns and slow them down, making them look unprofessional in front of the jury.

I prayed last night for justice in this case and for the truth to come out for the sake of John O'Keefe family and Karen Read if she is truly innocent. I'm not a very religious person so I don't know if it's working or not but I see this entire situation as troubling many people and I don't like that so I'm gonna keep on praying and hoping it helps.

I’m from MA. When major snow is forecast, we are bombarded with news alerts to the point of nauseam. Local programming is interrupted hourly. I don’t believe that any of these witnesses had no plan to get home or stay in place.

There should be an open bar for the witnesses, they might remember more if they were intoxicated.

My biggest issue is why contradict yourself on small details? Getting caught in lies of trivial things just sets off major alarm bells for me. It’s bizarre.

I don’t think people who question the amount of witnesses or young people testifying understand Boston family and friend dynamics. Loyalty runs DEEP and so does not “snitching”. It’s not far fetched at all growing up here to believe everyone in the house would back each other up. A lot of them are also just saying they left, didn’t see John, or someone left with them.

Also - when Brian Albert did not go outside - how did he know the John was not shot or stabbed? Wouldn’t u want to know how person was injuried - at that point they didn’t know or have reason to think Karen hit him?

Why are all these people leaving at 2am in a snowstorm? I know there was only a little bit of snow on the ground at that point but it’s snowing with 20+ mph winds it’s pitch black and they were all drinking. You’d think the homeowner being a cop wouldn’t want people to leave and risk it driving, sober or not, until daylight.

The boyfriend was way too evasive for me to believe anything he said.

I think that IF John died in the house, they threw him out there planning to blame the plow driver. Then Karen stepped into it by panicking and surmising that she possibly could have done it!

When people say, how could an entire police department, the DA’s office, and EMT’s all conspire without anyone letting the cat out of the bag. This case makes me wonder if every government employee involved has dirt on each other. I don’t think you could find a better example of people “knowing everything… but also knowing nothing” all at the same time.

In some states they allow jurors to ask questions. I wish they were allowed here, too.

When I was in EMS we didn't run the siren in neighborhoods, especially at night or early morning out of courtesy.

The problem Peter is that John’s wounds don’t back up him falling. He has what appears to be dog bites that don’t match, and defensive wounds on the back of his hands.
