as someone who wears fragrances if someone in my workplace had a bad reaction I would kindly not put on any fragrances I would also feel bad. I used to have a neighbor that had allergies to everything and would come over everyday and forced me to change my lifestyle but in that situation he needs to stay home or visit with me outside

Kyle Stevens You are most definitely the exception to the rule. I wish others would be so considerate. No one would even think of giving a child who is allergic to peanuts a bag of peanuts, but no problem wearing fragrance or spraying cleaners near me.

Go to an allergist and see what chemicals you are allergic to, then maybe they can give you shots to help?

A typical allergist can't help you with this issue. In the US, companies are not required to list chemicals in their fragrances because it's considered proprietary information. The only way to stop it is to get away from it and see an Environmental Medicine doctor to figure out what caused/is causing hypersensitivity.

I developed a sensitivity to certain scents. In particular perfumes. My eyes immediately burn headache, eyes swell, this stays for days. Sometime those smells can be far away from me and I can smell them. I hold my breath when I notice someone with heavy perfume or cologne, is there any treatments or cure?

Hello I have one question for you Why when I smell the fragrance of perfumes. Or gas. Plastic. And other. And why the scents create me Nausea and vomit. Explain to me what doctor can help me.I can not live with this problem.And what I need to do is cure.I'm sensitive to smell or I'm not.Do I have an allergy or do not have.

I'm rolling my fucking eyes at the statement she said how fragrances are a mix of chemicals. No shit sherlock, everything is chemicals. I myself have a very bad allergy to scents and one of the worst triggers? Essential oils. Oils squeezed out of plants. The first clue I got that I had a perfume allergy was that I always had a reaction when I had a bath and the strongly scented Shampoo would trigger my allergies.
