Its kinda scary to think that cooper teare never broke 4 in the mile in HS but both Leo and Lex are so close to breaking 4 in the mile as juniors only. Crazy to think about what they'll do in the NCAA. (Possibly even a new American record in the future for the mile maybe)

I'm 70 now and won a state mile title in New Jersey back in a day when the Sahlman and Young brothers' parents were babies. Today, I don't think I could fall out of a plane a mile high in the air in 4 minutes. What these kids are doing is mind boggling. But, what may be just as cool is they seem like great kids. And, that is a biggie. : )

I'd stretch my goal a bit if I were you. As a new runner you can gain fitness so fast and time will drop off like crazy. I started last season with a 6:11 and ended at 5:24. The bigger you set your goals the faster you will grow because you dont limit yourself mentally.

Don’t sell yourself short. Being so new to running, I wouldn’t worry much about deliberately trying to cut off 17 seconds. You might be able to see massive improvement considering you’re new

Amazing races all around I've always wondered why do you guys prefer running in the Dragonflys and not the Victories for the mile is it cushion, performance, feel, I need to know I have both and use the victs for 800 and shorter and dragonflys for the 3200 But I don't know what to use for the 1600.

I am a sophomore in college, and my goal for this track season is to stay healthy and consistent. I want to be up on that podium when conference comes around for the 1500. Also hoping to inch closer to the national qualifying time. I want to learn to race a smart 800 as well. Indoor season I broke so many goals and am very proud of myself, I want that same energy for the outdoor.
