With all that is going on, I've been trying Long Exposure Photography. In this video, I go over some of the items you'll need and show you some photos I've taken.
I also pick a few photos to walk you through my editing process in Hasselblad's Phocus software.

Hi, thanks for sharing. Is there a reason to use the trigger instead of the app or is just preference?

On the Hasselblad, the app was only available on iPad up until a few weeks ago. And honestly, for fewer things to deal with working all at once.

Any problems with that adapted 80mm lens and using the electronic shutter? I often see talk of image distortions due to the ES.

With this lens I can use the leaf shutter since it is an HC lens. Not used Electronic Shutter.

Hello , when you use phocus, does the software require you to convert the file to a tiff before working it?

Phocus is a RAW software. When importing in Phocus desktop RAW files from camera named 3FR it converts them in Phocus RAW filesnamed fff and the editing treatment is done in RAW and saved in RAW fff files. Phocus Mobile 2 on iPad works directly with 3FR camera RAW's and saves them as edited 3FR files. In Mobile 2 edited 3FR files can be imported in Phocus Desktop as fff files with or without previous iPad 3FR editing. After Phocus editing you can export files as TIFF or JPEG or print directly.

Thank you for a very informative video. One question, is the Hasselblad Phocus software for Apple for free, or do you ned to pay a license fee?

The software is free for the Mac or the iPad

Hi Mathew, Nice Pictures, How you feel X1d ii 50C also hc lens , does auto focus works with hc lens?

Auto focus is suppose to work on the newest HC lenses. The older ones, like what I have, no. I like the X1D. But if the 907x was out when I bought this, I would have gotten that instead because I already have a nice Fuji with this type of body style. Would have given me a new way of shooting and introduction something different. That said, I do enjoy the camera a lot.
