Last year when you made all those bouquets to give away was one of my favorite videos, I could just tell how much fun you and your mom were having. Love how involved you and Aaron are in your community. It's also fun that all of your viewers talk about what we do in our own gardens, I love knowing about what is growing successfully in other parts of the country and in other countries. She is his true love 💕 My dog baby was like that, if I’m doing things around the house she had her spot on the side with her brother. Every once in awhile she would just check up on me and boop her nose on my calf and when I was ready to relax, she was ready to cuddle 🥰. She passed last year and I really miss that. It was the only physical contact I had last year with a living being outside of my job working in a hospital. The unconditional love of my dog is the truest love I have ever received. I love watching your family interact with the cats and how Russell especially is Laura’s shadow. I can’t be the only one that plays “Where’s Russell” during the videos

When working many years ago professionally as a head gardener at an estate I made the big mistake of not wearing good shoes with good arch support and developed Achilles’ tendon issues and bone spurs because of it....Now I’m in the health care profession and need to wear special shoes and insoles inside my shoes because of the damage I did... so be very careful, you need to protect and cushion your arches and your feet

Good morning from Windermere, Florida zone 9b I had a long cup of coffee and enjoyed watching your recap. However, I wish you would have shown the part where you wrestled the 60' shade cloth in the high wind and dragged it AND a brick back to the barn. 🤣 Sorry, but it was funny. Mainly because we owned a 14 acre farm and Orchard in the 90's and I'm a city girl. Some of the situations I got myself into were just as funny. Not at the time, but now in reflection. I love seeing your interaction 💕 My husband and I are coming up on 48 years and several working together. It worked for us. Now we each started KZfaq channels to give focus to our lives at 70. Mine is sharing 50 years of gardening tips, Rick's is photography. Who knows where you 2 will be in 30+ years? Enjoy the ride 💚🚜💚

So, this is no secret, lol, but you are so much more patient than I am on all the videos where people ask questions about things you explained more than once in the same video. I will bet you said at least a half dozen times in the tree staking video that it was short term only. I need to do staking, and it's not that I haven't tried, it's just the things I have done over the years haven't worked, so I am no expert, but what you did made sense to me, such as when you placed them high or low, depending on what needed correction. I will say that trees are not cheap , planting them alone when you are disabled is not easy, and it's really discouraging when most of your trees are leaning from the wind and ice storms, so whatever actually works sounds great to me, and I think yours are going to work. 😀

Something I just learned recently by watching a Bonsai Master, is you can keep and grow larger trees in pots - you can wrap wire around tree trunks and even if it cuts into the tree (which takes years) your trees still live and keep growing. So Aaron you are off the HOOK about your lovely wide tree strap, don’t sweat it! ... and yes this worked with several varieties of maple 🍁

Agree with you Laura! No grass pathways. My husband wants grass pathways too in our large flower beds and all I see is yet another living thing to trim and care for. We might allow grass paths in the more hilly areas where we battle erosion and think the grass paths in those areas will actually improve the soil and microbial soil story.

I appreciated your comments on loosing trees and what a blow it is to your garden. We lost our maple in an ice storm this year and there were tears! We did replace it with a redpointe thanks to your videos.

Laura always do your flower garden like you did the first year no matter how developed your area becomes. Just throw caution to the wind and grow whatever. That’s what it’s all about right. Enjoyment!!!

I so agree that you're so lucky to have Proven Winners at Andrews. I found some supertunias at a upscale nursery last week thats about 30 miles from me. I was ecstatic .I bought all of them there was about 10. Then today I found 3 different supertunias at a DIY store and I bought 10 of them . I felt like I knew a secret that the other shoppers didn't know and I wasn't sharing it. LOL

I agree, feels like family here. I'm nae a gardener but I watch for the ethos. I got hooked by one Cmas decor video. My garden has benefitted though - my neighbours wonder what has hit me! I was strictly maintenance before but now I feel I've the confidence/know how to experiment with adding some pretty. And I didn't even watch for the gardening, it went in by osmosis. (And now I'm even growing with my class of school kids! We are growing strawberries but I also showed them your pumpkin/squash harvest as we're in Scotland - our traditional h'een lanterns were hollowed out neeps (turnips) which is no easy feat! I felt they should see how pumpkins grow as they have appeared in our shops now.) So thank you for hooking me in with the 'feels like family' ethos - I love that your Mum/sis and even Dad/bros happily join in too, think you are all lovely.

AARON! I own a micro cut flower farm and we have grass paths. If I could and my husband would let me, I would get rid of the grass and put in gravel pathways. We spend so much time cleaning up the grass from the beds and trying to keep them edged. It's such a pain!

FYI 'full sun' just means a minimum of 6 hours of direct sunlight. Those 6 hours can be in the morning or they can be in the afternoon.

Just to let you know because it's a little pet peeve for me. But no big deal because working in nursery sales hear this all the time. Full shade 4 hours or less of sun. Part shade/sun 4 to 6 hours of sun. FULL SUN 8 hours or more of continuous sun.🙂 Love you guys. Keep up the good work 😁👍

I have enjoyed your videos and have learned a lot over the years I’ve been watching them. I started watching them after moving into an old house with nothing but grass. Started with 1 raised vegetable garden bed and have increased the amount in the following years. I tried my hand at a perennial bed because you make it look so simple. I add a bit more each year. This year I am already planting more than previous years and am plowing through like I know what I am doing. Even ordered some bulbs etc that I planted last winter which look beautiful! Am actually waiting on my shipment from Brecks within the next few weeks and I bought a ton! Now just wishing my lawn had more grass as the weeds really have taken over. Always learning. Thanks for the inspiration! ♥️
