Soap and water cleans a lot of things especially your hands. It is a basic used in all hospitals as an infection control technique ; wash your hands. I use her soap in a dispenser with a 1 :5 ratio instead of buying hand soap for the bathroom.

Cleaning like baking is a process. You have to have the right ingredients, correct portions, and do things in the right order to get the results you want.

Love this, I recently have been researching safer cleaning options and sharing them with my own channel. Been using Dr. Bronner's soap for years but not for cleaning, since that study about the VOCs that came out in September 2023, I am going to try it for cleaning.

I have a question… I use Sal suds in my laundry. Is it ok to put vinegar in my fabric softener dispenser also? I heard lots of people over the years talk about how using vinegar makes everything soft. I wouldn’t want to test this and have my clothes and washer all oily.

Using Sal Suds in your laundry and vinegar in your fabric softener dispenser is generally safe. However, as a precaution, you might want to test this combination on a less expensive load of laundry first, like some older towels, to ensure you get the desired results without any issues.

Is there a shelf life on the Castile soap cause I have some very old product

Is it okay to put bleach in you washer with laundry soap?

Thank you for your question! It's generally not recommended to mix bleach with Dr. Bronner's castile soap or any other soap that contains surfactants. Bleach is a strong oxidizing agent, and when mixed with certain soaps, it can reduce the effectiveness of both the bleach and the soap. Always follow the care instructions on your clothing and the guidelines on your cleaning products to ensure best results and safety

@@kelleyleblanc5025 That’s not an answer. ES contains magnesium which reacts with soaps to form soap scum. It’s one reason never to wash laundry or chicken with soap.

@@FrankGutowski-ls8jt what do you suggest to wash the chickens with? I often. Soak them in ES if they look a bit off. I guess they absorb the minerals and it always seems to help them. They also occasionally get pooped on and I use Castile soap to get it off. Plain water doesn’t get it all out.

@@kelleyleblanc5025 Epsom salt is not absorbed through human skin and probably not a chicken’s. You need to see about a food supplement containing magnesium if you think it helps them. Using soap to wash them sounds ok. If you have hard water, then a lot of the soap will form scum with magnesium and calcium contaminants and be unavailable as a cleaning agent. Have you tried pet shampoo?
