Do you have a problem with rubbing?

@@elblouses128 I have 275/55/20, they are 1/2 inch bigger than the 265/65/18… I feel like I’m going to rip the bumper off. Do you think a 2.5” lift will solve this problem?

Found a bunch of bushings that needs replacing, so haven’t really tested them on a proper trip yet. But love them so far! And looks 100% right for the build

the flood lights in the grille is cut to fit, and siliconed into the back of the grille. Worked like a charm for 1 year!

The headlights are painted warm yellow at the moment (it washes of with pure alcohol).. Just always trying different setups, but I prefer yellow lights during winter!

Hey Walter, I’m very interested in fitting some 18 Defender rims on my Discovery 4! Did you have to do any modifications to fit them and make them road legal?

@@sebastianobonini8938 No, i didn‘t have to Modify anything and since these are Landrover rims, registering them here in Germany was no Problem. Have a nice time. Walter

@@kasperhoglund Which engine would you recommend in the LR4? Im considering it for an overlanding videography rig.

@@jkdrake1 I have the SDV6, which is an amazing and very suiting engine. But it’s a FOrd engine with issues with oil starvation and some have had issues with crank failures. However, most do last and work perfectly fine. From what I’ve heard, the V8 petrol sold in US and some over in UK are a pretty solid engine all over

I have 2” lift. But can lower the suspension even with the 265/65/18. The stock size is a bit smaller, so if you want that size it’s no problem at all! Got them over at noroadclub.com

@@kasperhoglund I have the same tire and wheel setup but a 2.5 in Johnson rod lift. I find the LR doesn’t ride well when on the highway. Do you find the same? Do you have a way to lower when traveling on a highway or do you just keep the suspension raised 2 inches? Trying to find a solution that allows me to raise and lower relatively easily. Thanks!

@@andrewhenry5889 I was wondering the same thing. my biggest issue is rubbing along the bumper when turning sharply. Otherwise it rides fine on the highway at stock height. I might add 1-1.5” Johnson rods to minimize highway discomforts and cut out parts of the bumper or wheel well where it rubs.
