Luba 2 AWD 5000 Initial Map and Mow

In this video I setup a perimeter area for mowing, have the unit mow that area, then have the unit travel through a 50' metal garage going back to the base station.
I'm am very happy with the cut quality. You can't really see it here, as the grass was not ready to be mowed, but you can hear (or actually not hear) the mower while it cuts. I did have to cut out the background sounds some because of the neighbors barking dog and some wind noise, but you get a good listen. Unfortunately, I didn't realize it, but I managed to mute the unit sounds. It is supposed to beep 5 times before cutting, and I managed to mute that somehow. (I will do a video with the sounds later as well as the sounds of the mower up close while it's mowing.)
I still have to raise the deck all the way up to start mowing, then I can adjust it back to where I want it when it starts.

I received my unit a week ago. With all the rain and bad weather, I was able to finally climb on the roof (and not kill myself) to setup the ATK. I had the same issue with mine doing loops in the yard trying to get back to the base. He bulldozed through my mulch a couple times. I received another update yesterday. I'm being optimistic!

So far it still won’t mow without starting at 70mm for me after the update. It did manage to go through one short metal garage last night without stopping. It’s been raining all day, so haven’t been able to test any further.

how do you know if your sim card is working where to go to check ? good video

There's a LTE Signal beside the WIFI signal. If it can send and receive data, then the signal will show the bars like a cellphone. If it cannot send and receive, there will be an ! in the middle of the signal. Just an FYI, the Luba 2 doesn't come with a SIM. You have to get one and install it.

Mine just arrived today at the house. Going to unbox it tonight. Do you know if you can buy a 2nd charging station alone? I have 1 area that is enclosed due to keeping the dogs in. So when it mows that area it won't be able to get back to the charging station.

I do not think you can, nor would it work. It seeks out that charger. Any little movement of the station, and it needs to be recalibrated. I have 3 areas separated by 2 metal garages. I raise the doors, let the unit through, and then close the doors. It means I have to watch the unit on the app. When it needs to come back and recharge, or it’s done, I have to go open the doors and let it back in the back yard. I’ve been hoping I’d run into a used one that I can put in the front yard to eliminate one garage.

Also, one more thing, when you send it out to mow, always start while it on the charger. Your life will be simpler.

LOL. I too have been watching ebay for a used one to buy for the back yard. Guess we may be bidding against each other if one does ever become available. Did you see the 5000 unit being listed for $1,000? Only problem is IT IS LOCKED. LOL. So would make a great paper weight. @@scottysize

Yup. I saw that one. There's a Luba 1 1000 model for sale in Denton, TX, but they still want $1400. I tried explaining that its too much, but the person isn't wanting to negotiate. @@barrywilson1842

5:29 I think there is a small circle in the channel. You can zoom out that channel on thr App to check that. If so, you can delete it and redraw it.

I've redrawn the channels several times. Mower does the same thing. Thanks,

@@scottysize If you recreate the channel again and Luba still turns again on the new channel when crossing it, could you send log to us by clicking the feedback button? We will give you the answer in one day
